    rating of former employer

    Interviewer (Former Employee)
    Long Island City, NY

Prossteady work when I started there. work is seasonal. gets slow at times. would call it down time.
worked on a variety of projects. if you have some experience in telemarketing looking to find a job soon and you don't mind calling people on the phone.

Consthe slow periods. when there are only certain projects for people who are trained in specific work. such as bilinguals. the pay rate not that great

    Telephone Interviewer (Former Employee)

If you absolutely need a job and have no other choice....ok its not that bad

    Telephone Interviewer (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsFairly easy job ( you just sit and call people to complete surveys)
    Get paid weekly !
    Fixed hours and days
They hire practically anybody that can type, speak and listen
    Long hours

ConsThey hire practically anybody...makes for an interesting work atmosphere
    Long hours
    Kinda boring
    Rude people on the phone

Advice to Senior ManagementWhen training, try not to psyche people out about what the job is really about. There is no need to be condescending, loud and obnoxious during training. Other than that, keep at it.

    in my opinion

    Bilingual Phone Operator (Current Employee)
    Long Island City, NY

Prosimmediate hire, easy interview process just pay attention, bilinguals make $9 per hour and $8 when conducting english surveys, no strict dresscodes (use common sense people), some of their staff are very professonal and helpful and truly want you to succseed. everyone is given a fair chance, but its up to you to take it...

Consthe interview process should be better at filtering people that cant read/write, some people dont take their work seriously some act and look a mess... also the office is kinda dark and depressing,

Advice to Senior Managementsometype of uniform should be in effect, that might help some people get into a more professonal mindset, also the place could use better lighting, the dim lighting is depressing and tiresome..

It's Only Good to Show that You're Working

    Telephone Interviewer (Former Employee)
    Long Island City, NY

ProsYou are paid weekly and have the opportunity to add shifts

ConsTraining is somewhat helpfull, depressing and UNSAFE(dangerous) environment , schedule is subject to be cancelled often(12 to 28 hrs per week-maybe), minimum wage, payroll issues( constant errors-up to and including not getting paid correctly; if at all!), high turnover, everyone is considered PART/TIME-meaning NO benefits, medical or otherwise!

Advice to Senior ManagementAllow more workers to be FULL TIME, provide medical benefits and give a higher wage(recently minimum wage was increased-but company needs to upgrade and new accountants so that payroll issues are addressed and RESOLVED!)

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

The amount of hours were crappy!

    Telephone Interviewer (Current Employee)
    Long Island City, NY

    Pros* Gain people skills
    * Easiest job in the world to get if you know how to type, read, and follow directions

Cons* They send you home if you aren't as good as their top employees
    * If you show up late or on time you still might not be guaranteed a cubicle= work

Advice to Senior Management* First come, first served should only be applied when you're giving handouts. A cubicle for your employees shouldn't be one of them.

very bad conditions not a good place to work.

    Telephone Interviewer (Current Employee)

ProsImmediate hire is possible. all you have to do is past a simple test just make sure you pay attention to the video. the only pro I can give them is that there is paid training.

ConsWork conditions are horrible. bathrooms smell and sometimes people smell. the pay is too low and sometimes they have work for you. working over 40 hours is not accepted here and steal your hours do not work for this company unless your desperate for fast cash.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake payroll correct their mistakes many people weren't getting paid the hours they worked

Can be monotonous depending on the worker you sit next to in the call center.

    Telephone Interviewer (Former Employee)
    Long Island City, NY

ProsThere are some fun energetic people there that can make the monotonous day go a little faster.

ConsWorking with people of lower income can make for an unpredictable work environment. Minimum Wage. No bonuses.

Advice to Senior ManagementUpdate ALL the technology used for conducting phone surveys. It'll make the work more productive and comfortable.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
