    Pros

Very good people to work with, friendly executive management, good vision.

    Cons

Poor middle management and lack of communication and organization inter departments. No communications between other companies organically connected.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Middle management should start thinking and caring for the company and employees more than their personal egos.

I have been working at Optimal Payments - NETELLER full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Hard working middle managers doing all the real job trying to do best to support team. Free food on Thursday's and some free tickets for concerts at Bell center.

    Cons

Biggest nest of nepotism I have ever seen you will never be promoted to more than middle manager and if you are promoted, expect to do all the work and get none of the glory.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop spending money towards expensive toys that bring no value to the company, start having a real plan to grow the company and satisfy clients start respecting your word, put in place a real HR department that has a clear mandate and that actually knows that they are doing put your money into your Technology.

    Pros

Generous number of paid time off, plenty of free parking. The workplace is casual and coworkers look at how well you work, not just what you look like.

    Cons

Company lost it's way after the 2007 US pullout and never recovered after that. Departments do not work together to reach a common goal. The company has no direction.

I have been working at Optimal Payments - NETELLER

    Pros

they have got varied payment methods unlike other payment gateways

    Cons

discontinuation of account for idiotic reason even though if you will do everything best possible

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Neteller sucks because even though the documents were submitted to them for verification, they discontinued the account for vague reasons...!!! You will never be able to go beyond the verification process as they will discontinue you any time from nowhere.

I worked at Optimal Payments - NETELLER as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Neteller runs an agile software development environment. They have dedicated QA, PM and BA resources. I really liked the people: they assembled a very good set of people, both employee and contract. They have pretty high expectations as far as the quality of code and the amount of effort expected, a philosophy I agree with. Rarely had to work overtime. Employees have to rotate being on call.

    Cons

Inconvenient for transit, basically have to drive. They are still recovering from losing the US gambling market so there's always that undercurrent of instability. They laid off several people the first few months I was there - some surprising, some not.

I have been working at Optimal Payments - NETELLER full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Great industry to be in with lots of future growth potential
    - Good work environment, rarely forced to do overtime, and for the most part leaders respect fostering a work / life balance.
    - Great vacation and 1 personal day off each month.
    - Average health / dental
    - Positive changes to bloated management team

    Cons

    - Management scared to take risks.
    - Location
    - No long term incentive plan (bonuses / profit sharing)
    - No pension / rrsp matching

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To be considered an innovator, you have to be willing to take risks. Companies that are true innovators are not afraid to fail... that could be up to 70% of the time. Board / Sr Directors should guide the ship, but should be involved at lower level design / planning sessions. Focus on identifying the business problem and trust the team and their expertise to deliver a solution. Not all initiatives need to focus on revenue out of the gate. Build good products and revenue will come.

I worked at Optimal Payments - NETELLER

    Pros

Coworkers were usually ok people to work with. Building was newish and ok. A great place to start out and move on if you are able to piece together your experience and education.

    Cons

Company lost it's way after the 2007 debacle with the US pullout and never recovered after that. There was a huge loss of company identity and many of the people left over from the massive downsizings were not as qualified and dedicated as those who were there before. Lots of massive, expensive delays in releasing new products. Major changes in duties caused problems for people who found themselves doing new jobs they were not trained for or were qualified to do. Too many major shifts at the top, seemed like the company had new people in the top management levels every 6 months or so and a new CEO annually. Company lost 9/10 of its market to competition after 2007. Lots of internal postering and protection of fiefdoms from supervision and management. Overall, a shell of its former self.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Kick your marketing groups in the bum, get a new brand identity and penalize those who delay and posture accordingly.
