Pros
Free Broadband for staff members or Wireless broadband
Cons
Paying for parking and expensive inhouse canteens
Advice to Senior Management
Free Parking please
Pros
Fantastic products, great incentive programs, dynamic management, fun young team environment.
Cons
Promotions are for the 'in people' that spend weekends with their managers. First time mistakes are not dealt with lightly but rather with hasty retrenchment.
Advice to Senior Management
Ethical human resource policies. Fairness, equal opportunity and offering second chances.
Pros
Flexible working hours and reasonable working environment. Able to learn new things but lack of empowerment when the superior is not able to give clear directive when needed the most.
Cons
Lower remuneration package compared with other MNCs. Too much office politics among departments and the superiors may not know what their subordinates are doing or issues faced. Communication should be improved.
Pros
Great environment and always looking at ways to make it better,
Good benefits such as onsite gym, childcare, strong contributor to the community and take it seriously,
Open communication, big focus on teamwork.
Cons
internal systems can be a challenge but there's a big focus to fix it and make it a better experience for employees and customers
Pros

Nice working environment

Cons
communication issue with the customer service team
Rude customer support staff
Advice to Senior Management
Try to make call centre with better treatment, so people can treat their customers more friendly.
Pros
Great campus, nice people, friendly environment, some experts, average training
Cons

Advice to Senior Management

Advice to Senior Management
None
Pros
Well known brand
Good company culture
good benifets
Cons
Targets getting to high
Commission plan changes to much
Too much red tape and bureaucracy
Too much "spin" from Management
Premium prices but not a premium product.
Advice to Senior Management
Give people a chance to earn good money.
Stop relying on the "brand"
Don't bully partners who want to hire ex Optus staff. If they want to leave, let them go. Otherwise, create a better culture and people will stay!
Pros
Second largest telco in Australia. Great campus and facilities. People are friendly and courteous and seem to enjoy working there.
Cons
Location is a challenge - limited car parking capacity and not much on-street parking. There are buses and the train-station is a good 20 minute walk to campus. A lot of stakeholder management with different groups from all different business units that need to approve projects before they can progress which sometimes stifles innovation, creativity and speed to market.
Advice to Senior Management
Walk the walk
Pros
Use to be a challenger company with great work environment.
Cons
Poor selection of technical manager that don't have good leadership and communication skills.
Advice to Senior Management
Employ better people management skills in technical managerial roles.
