    Pros

Lots of learning on oracle technology. Canteen is good. Mumbai office is specious. Colleagues are helpful

    Cons

Salary is not that great for Experienced. If you are 4-5 Yrs experience you will get same designation as of fresher candidates have. And salary is more equal to fresher.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

please dont give team management to guy whose having no experience to manage the team. Also explain the salary structure well in advance to the candidates to which you initiate the offer.

I have been working at Oracle full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great technology and solid acquisitions to drive future growth.

    Cons

Lacks culture and too much churn with employees leaving for better opportunities and higher pay. No pay increase for the longest time and no consideration for employees when it comes to pay increase to keep up with the local market and inflation, power centers with folks required to align with the power center in order to get ahead. Too much bureaucracy and red tape.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Learn from Cisco.

Former Employee - Associate Consultant in Mumbai (India)
Former Employee - Associate Consultant in Mumbai (India)

I worked at Oracle full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Extremely flexible work culture as most of the managers are a mix of Oracle corporation and Oracle India pvt. ltd. The work culture is extremely flexible. Work from home is popular. No mandatory 8/9/10 hours etc. No dress code (no formals etc), Free bus service and lots of reimbursements.

    Cons

Salary hike is irregular and worst! Some of my colleagues got an avg of 15% in 2 years some unlucky ones got single digit hikes for 2 years. Appraisals are not done on an year to year basis. Company comes up with excuses but eventually makes sure that they appraise the employee at least every 2 year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to stream line appraisal process and also need to come up with employee retention schemes.
