    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Oracle full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great work life balance. Depends on the team. You have extra time to inovate, learn, go out, or wake up late. People is relaxed, empathic and nice. It depends on the team, but in mine im free to choose tools and languages for new products.

    Cons

Resources are limited. For example you cant get as many VMs as you want, devices, etc. Hard to climb the ladder. Everybody is 30y/o or more. Pay is just ok. Food is not free.

    Advice to Management

Give more oportunities at the HQ for people that work abroad.

I have been working at Oracle full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Solutions Excellent Portfolio Good Benefits Good Training Program Opportunities for growth within and outside initial business group Fast-paced work environment

    Cons

Cutthroat mentality between sales organizations Collaboration is not only shunned, but undermining other teams is encouraged. Customer engagement is hampered by adversarial interactions between sales teams

    Advice to Management

A way to instill the sense of competition between sales teams without undermining each other and ruining the experience the customer receives (as a result) must be found in order for Oracle to maintain market/mind-share.

I have been working at Oracle full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pretty flexible with working from home or office. They also offer tuition reimbursement towards a masters degree which is helpful. Average pay.

    Cons

Pay increases and bonuses are almost non existent. With such a big company unfortunately that means a ton of spam email from various parts of the company which provide no value.

  10. Helpful (1)

I have been working at Oracle full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work from Home for almost all types of projects, Good Environment and work culture Great Brand value and respect in other companies, clients

    Cons

Sometimes there would be no work for days, months depending upon the project, at that time some people may get bored, some people choose to do some certifications etc. No pay hike every year, yearly pay hike sometimes happens but its not certain always.

    Advice to Management

Please give yearly pay hikes at least in developing countries so that employees can survive and sustain even when there is high inflation. Please give more technical and functional trainings to employees

I worked at Oracle full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get to start with a training class with other new business development consultants. It's a good way to meet your coworkers and build your team. You have a lot of support and mentorship from your peers, account managers you support, managers of the various BDC teams. Outside of training, you learn most things from your peers, who are really excited to see a new class of BDCs come in and really excited to teach you how they do things. You move up after a year plus of BDC work to an account manager role.

    Cons

Management changes often, teams change often, territories change often. Can be a con sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Keep the BDC program alive, it's cool.
