    Pros

Leading Cloud Technology company, Diverse group of talented people, Have the ability to grow. Flexibility to work remote when a project allows. good benefits.

    Cons

Large company. Sometimes is hard to connect with the right people to get the information you need. Lots of internal processes. Be prepared to work longs hours under demanding deadlines.

    Advice to Management

I see strides starting to happen with streamlining organizations in order develop a more cohesive environment. A large company with over 3000 products and services can be overwhelming at times when it comes to defining core values. Who are we? What do we do? Where are we headed next?

    Pros

gym, not going under anytime soon,

    Cons

    location, management, turnover, compensation, bureaucracy

    Advice to Management

Please please please train your OD managers. With all the turnover of both reps and managers, quality of managers has absolutely plummeted. There are people in those roles who should not be managing anyone but are there only because of tenure and desperation. The reps are ready, willing, and able to work but managers and VPs are absolutely killing culture, motivation, and ultimately productivity. Oracle Direct - You are going to keep losing people until your managers are made accountable. and better.

    Pros

Good brand name and a ton of resources and training available to you at all times. A lot of mobility and opportunities (cross-departmentally).

    Cons

Fairly rigid culture and a lack of focus on individual contribution. Compensation structure makes it difficult to achieve your ote, even when you are hitting quota.

    Pros

    - Tough environment to survive in with competitive nature and position overlap, yet this sets you well for other companies in your career -Flexible work locations - Great learning experience because you expose to so many, global business units - Very, very smart people at Oracle, so great learning from that perspective.

    Cons

    - Job overlap is annoying - Other business units will take your content, embed it in theirs and not provide credit to the original author - Older, stuffy work environment - Oracle is a global company, so they will let you work all 24 hours per day if you facilitate it

    Advice to Management

Remain a domain expert as well as manager for when the twice yearly layoffs come or a big acquisition. Ensure you are metrics driven and can clearly show growth/direct business impact.
