    market leader, customers recognize oracle as the market leading software, perks for M6 (VP) and above, headhunters calling me all the time !

    - deliver your quarterly numbers, some deadwood divisions, recent senior leadership changes affecting morale in apac

    good work experience, the working experience here

    Cons

    pool salary, pool management, never feel that have been motivated to work. Manager just know push you work but never really care about your career path.

    care more about how to motivate the employees, but not just know how to save money to under pay employees

    Market rate benefits.
    Depends which team you are that will decide your fate.

    Cons

    Account managers care little on the employees.
    Bad working cultute. Most of projects are client based so tough to face clients need and lot of politics.

    No strong policy on what projects to undertake.
    Many senior engineers behave like managers and not sure whom to report and they backfire you many time.

    Good people. Very helpful, and a very supportive management.
    Great acquisition strategy.
    Leader in the areas that it choses to operate in.

    Cons

    Extremely difficult targets. IT seems like the company does not want you to make your entire commission.

    Pros

    Excellent products, can provide end-to-end solutions, very aggressive in sales (so as pre-sales you learn things quickly), lots of talented resources to learn from, if you work hard you get recognition. As pre-sales there is lot to learn and no one will stop you from learning new things and starting the pre-sales activities on your own. Oracle will help generously for external training and certifications (full reimbursement). work from home, flexible timing, when you travel you always stay in 5-star hotels and their is no TA/DA (so expenses are all paid via corporate credit card and there is no limit for food bills ). Good compensation for sales guys

    Cons

    negotiate well when you join oracle because salary wont increase every year, been in Oracle for 6 years, achieved 150% of KPIs fr past 3 years, but no pay raise. Only way you can get a pay-raise is after you get a job outside and based on offer letter, HR and Management will match the salary (I dont support this method)
    Politics is there, need to know the right people to get promotions (btw promotions doesn't necessarily increase your salary). Manager can tell you that his own salary has not increase so how can he help you ? huh...
    Since its a sales-driven org, above mentioned cons dont apply to sales team. they can get their salary raised easily (they have solid numbers to show from yearly quota achievement etc). Pre-sales, even though is the most important dept, dont get good treatment.

    management know what they are doing, so feedback is not required from employees
