Pros – OEH has a great benefits package, flexible with advancing within the company, good management and flexible when personal needs spring up and time off is needed!
Cons – sometimes hard to receive salary increases and bonus structures tend to delay year after year. occasional communication pauses with operations and sales can be a challenge
Advice to Senior Management – Try to express appreciation for employees and offer regular, standard salary increases and bonus structures when appropriate. Build better communication with hotels and sales teams on a regular basis

I have been working at Orient-Express Hotels as an intern for less than a year
Pros – Good people to work with.
Cons – Lousy paycheck.
Not an structured company. There is no career line.
Crowded corporate offices.
Bad working stations.
Advice to Senior Management – The company should be more professional and have better systems.

I worked at Orient-Express Hotels part-time for more than a year
Pros – good people, decent pay. interesting environment
Cons – very long hours, office staff seen as more important, lack of professionalism by some
Advice to Senior Management – value your service staff

I have been working at Orient-Express Hotels
Pros – It is rather a collection of hotels than a hotel chain. This gives you some space for creativity.
Cons – Not working as a corporate hotel chain as yet, but in full development. Do not look for standardized procedures, there are none.
Advice to Senior Management – They are on the right path...
