    Pros

Land purchases leading to company expansion. High turnover rate leads to opportunities for individuals looking to get into the business.

    Cons

Overall culture is very disruptive and employees are very dissatisfied. The company claims to be building a great corporate culture but turnover ratios are very high with quarterly dismissals or layoffs as well as employees leaving which is a good sign that this culture within the company does not exist. Quality of product which is meet only code requirements, negatively impacts customer service and results in a lot of customer complaints and dissatisfaction which ultimately results in very few to no referrals. Customers service is relied on exclusively by CSM's, management does not focus on customers service and when they do it's just a facade. Many employees are required to commute more then 50 minutes even when available communities are closer. Most insulting, management regularly threatens dismissal to try and prove a point farther creating a very disappointing and dissatisfied corporate culture. Do not fall for job ads stating the company offers a teamwork environment or Sale Manager's enthusiasm to get you on board, this will quickly turn into broken promises and little support leading to employee frustrations. It's unfortunately an every person for themselves and a figure it out yourself culture.

    Advice to Management

With a high turnover ratio for years now, both in employees leaving and getting dismissed/laid-off, it's time to look at management instead of entry level employees as the problem.

    Pros

The new management team is trying to make the process and product better but simpler for employees, subs and customers.

    Cons

Needs to spend some money on the computer systems to make people more efficient. Smiling face on logo is growing on me. I think that's a con.

    Advice to Management

Needs to spend some money on the computer systems to make people more efficient.

    Pros

The Project Manager and Site Supers could care less about how it's constructed as long as it passes inspection

    Cons

Most buyers realize that our subs our inexperienced and have terrible craftsmanship. People are starting to realize that Orleans could care less after the buyer closes. The reputation is near bottom and I see this company back in bankruptcy and this time for good.

    Advice to Management

Hire better skilled staff, listen to your managers and we HAVE to honor our Warranty. WE can't keep blowing off or potential referrals.

    Pros

Flexible schedule at times, but work load has kind of nullifed the possibility.

    Cons

Too much required for job than what is being paid, they have slowly added more and more per the job description and no compensation for the extra responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

Restructure the infrastructure system, listen to ways to improve process instead of saying you are working on it. Better support system in place from upper management.
