Former Employee – worked at Orr & Reno, PA
Pros – Good group of folks, nice cozy environment.
Cons – I think they're hurting for revenue from clients. Also, some of the office-furnishings for young associates are dated
Advice to Senior Management – Keep the associates in the loop more. Don't bring in summer people and give the impression that there's a job at the end when there is not.

Former Employee – worked at Orr & Reno, PA
Pros – Nice location in downtown Concord. The majority of the employees (lawyers and assistants) are very nice to work with. Fair pay and benefits.
Cons – The unprofessionalism of this firm is astounding to me. The firm administrator plays favorites and if she has it out for you - WATCH OUT. She also has been known to "play footsie" with married men and a senior member of the firm, which greatly impacted the morale. There is absolutely NO support for the legal assistants, their wants and needs are at the very bottom of the totem pole. Recently the firm applied to be listed as one of the best places to work in New Hampshire, and the employees of the firm were laughing amongst themselves at the audacity of the decision. Of course the firm was not awarded this honor, as there is absolutely nothing about this firm that would warrant being a "best" place to work.
Advice to Senior Management – Take a look at the management style of your firm administrator. Having affairs with senior partners and having personal vendettas against employees is no way to run a business or keep people happy (unless, of course, you are the senior partner...)
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
