    Pros

Lots of top shelf people, skills, and sole owner of dry slide technology.

    Cons

Failed to innovate in the dry slide technology, became a "me too" technology company.

    Advice to Management

You have the world at your toes, so don't kick! It will be difficult to avoid successs. Try not to develop that skill!

    Pros

    Co-workers are great and helpful.
    Involved in many tasks, responsibilities.
    Every day is different

    Cons

Management is not involved with daily operations and gives advice without knowing the full story. Upper management jumps to conclusions without consulting workers who handle the accounts every day.
They are not open to employees suggestions or opinions if your input differs from what their thoughts are.
Anyone who speaks differently from what management says is seen as negative and removed.

    Pros

Still establishing itself as a "stand alone" company, which allows you some flexibility to create your own work processes. People are friendly and I have found management to be helpful and encouraging. There is so much work to do, that you really are often on your own to figure things out and I enjoy the challenge.

    Cons

The establishment of the company is still a "work in progress", so there is not much stability at the moment. Things change often. There is a high turnover of people because some are worried about the long term prospects of the company.

    Pros

Great compensation plan, company benefits, & the training is like nothing I've ever heard of. Everyone is very friendly & supportive.

    Cons

I don't know of any cons so far. Wearing a suit & tie everyday is going to be a change.

    Pros

At this time OCD does have good benefits, compensation, work/life balance, and dedicated employees who go the extra mile to give back to the local community.

    Cons

Large contractor "buffer" workforce who are allowed only 1 to 2 year contracts. This makes for a lot of turnover and time lost in training. Convoluted, repetitive, unorganized training processes. Bulky, extremely slow change process. Middle management that is deaf to suggestions from the rank and file workers who know the processes best and upper management who just pays lip service to credo values.

    Advice to Management

Remember that the company is only as good as its workforce. Listen to the people who actually do the jobs you manage. Quality should be your #1 priority. If you have quality, profit will follow. If you skimp on quality, profits will be temporary and the company will lose its credibility.

    Pros

Compensation, 401k matching where you receive the matching at 100% vesting after your 1 year anniversary, onsite gym, cafeteria and location (NJ).

    Cons

Since the Carlyle acquisition, major clashing of work culture between the JnJ lifers and outside hires. Very high stress environment that comes with too high of a workload. There has been high turnover in the Finance department over the last 5 months and it continues. People who were hired from the outside in late 2014 are leaving. Jobs are left unfilled despite increasing reporting/new demands from the Carlyle Group. No support or training is provided. Existing culture (prior to the acquisition) is not open to change or adjusting to the demands of the new management and wants to continue to operate as it is. The work culture also includes unfriendly people with an 'it was done to me attitude', rampant favoritism, dirty politics, and no support what so ever from management or your team. Trying to work or complete a task can be compared to the term "herding cats". If you try to propose a change to a process or bring in suggestions from your prior experience, you are faced with resistance from these managers and your peers. Financial reporting is highly manual and employees are constrained and cannot fully provide the new reporting requirements requested from senior management. Overall the environment is completely unstable and with too many unknowns.

    Advice to Management

I applaud Carlyle for trying to hire outside experience who have worked in companies that Carlyle is striving to be as the existing employees do not know how to meet this vision. But if you want to change the culture, you need to remove the existing leadership who do not adjust or unable to change with the new culture because they are blockers to the talent who can change. Unfortunately this company's prior performance was a directly result from the culture of it's predecessor. I believe there is great opportunity to turn this business around into a success and a leader in the industry.

    Pros

Ortho Clinical Diagnostics is providing a lot of possibilities of training and self- developpement:communication, language training.
It is a good company to start a career as they offer a good work environment and training.

    Cons

Ortho Clinical Diagnostics is not a member of Johnson and Johnson group anymore. There is not a lot of possibilities of growth within the company except from Technical Support Specialist to second level (technical).
