  1. Good technology, too many changes in the top management

I worked at Ortiva Wireless full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people, smart people, great technology. Got a chance to work in different roles. Open culture and a lot of room for personal growth.

    Cons

Had a lot of sleepless nights :). Didn't get the reward for the hard work at the end. The top management changed paths a lot of time, which i think led to the downfall

    Advice to Management

Stick to a product and make it a success.

  2. Smart individuals, dumb company

    Pros

Smart people who can solve many issue on the fly, and in many cases are also willing to help in weird hours with weird issues

    Cons

Dumb company who never delivers - nothing is on time, nothing is "as promised" (and I'm not being picky on days/weeks of being late, I'm talking months) Amount of politics for such a small company is (negatively) amazing Cheap on people (salaries), but travel budget of Fortune 500

    Advice to Management

Cut your loses - when an account is dead, it's dead. And don't feed BS to folks - nobody likes that.

  3. Face paced, wild ride

    Pros

If you're looking for an experience of a startup company where you're involved in multple aspects of the company's operations.

    Cons

Poorly organized management structure, requirement to work long hours with little compensation or thank yous, work in an unproven industry, poor leadership,

    Advice to Management

improved managment structure so anyone with VP in their title should be required to help drive the company and provide cross functional direction.
