    Pros

Great tasting product, passionate people, own the cookie category, category leader, people stay with the company a long time

    Cons

The company was held by a parent company out of Switzerland and they consolidated a number of brands under one company.

    Pros

Steady work, did your own thing for the most part. the pay was decent can't really complain about that aspect.

    Cons

They always expected you to come in and do overtime. There will be a month where you work everyday and they get mad when you call in because sometimes you just need a day off. and they have a lot of Temps working there who could sealy cover your shift.

    Advice to Management

Maybe you can get out there and give them a reason to want to work instead of just working for a pay check.

    Pros

The staff people are nice. The cookies are great

    Cons

The managers lack people skills and yell a lot. No training is available. The benefits are average at best but be prepared to payout out of pocket. Some of the managers are real pieces of work. The facilities are outdated and worn looking.

    Advice to Management

Learn to communicate with the staff. Treat them the way that you want to be treated.

    Pros

Exposure to mass production and executive team

    Cons

Not family friendly - worked late every single day - immediate boss was negative, self-absorbed, and uninterested in my further development. Family cheered when I told them I was no longer working there.

    Advice to Management

Cost reductions and constant ridicule of your overall staff through the Americas is uncalled for. Possibly things changed since I had been there.

    Pros

do your job your left alone.

    Cons

Finger pointing and no raises. But i'm glad to see upper management (Killian) making a fifteen million dollar bonus this year!!! Let keep cutting the workforce and giving existing employees more to do without increasing their pay.
Upper management is so disconnected and there are SSOOOO many DVP's and VP'S who are making high pay off the backs of the bakery workers.
Funny most of those DVP's and VP's really don't know what is going on half the time. The other half they are wrong.

    Advice to Management

Pay your people better at least keep up with the economy increases.Every year costs of goods increase but every year there is either no pay increase or a token increase that makes no difference.again, glad to see upper management (Killian) making a fifteen million dollar bonus this year!!!

    Pros

    Strong product line, convenient location

    Cons

It's no longer about getting things done right, it's about getting things done. Training is very limited, knowledge is not shared, and support is non-existent. If you like to work alone with direction from upper management that doesn't know your role, then this is the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Hiring more temps doesn't help, talent retention does.
