Pros
Good benefits, salary, and summers off.
Cons
Poor inservice training, student/classroom based funding, poor support for extra-curriculars, little incentive for teachers to go above and beyond the call, insufficient time for planning and evaluation.
Advice to Senior Management
Look for ways to reward those that go above and beyond the call, provide teachers with the time they need to do the job, be sure to support the efforts of staff in and out of the classroom.
