    Pros

No single best reason to work here. No corporate culture. Unprofessional or Unethical environment. Every movement of yours is tracked & harassed in many different ways. Management wants to hear to you but doesn't want to take any ACTION. Full of promises, nothing in reality.

    Cons

Management doesn't want to embrace or understand employees views/ideas. No job security. You need to "butter" the management, for you to be in there good books. Not an ideal/appropriate place for sensitive people.

    Advice to Management

Stop playing with the careers of employees.... Hope the management @ RTP looks into this before the current management ruin the life's of budding young employees. The India management do not allow employees live their dreams.

    Pros

Overtorture Networks best suits this company name in India.GM India and HR listens your concerns and pretends as if they are resolving the issue, but they were bluffing RTP Management and young Indian engineers.

    Cons

Micro Management.Credits will be taken by Managers and lead and blame will be given to engineers.Really pathetic and PI(M)P Managers and Directors. Young Indian engineers don't spoil your career at just looking at salary and product based company.

    Advice to Management

Wake up RTP Management and take appropriate action to correct the Indian management otherwise it will totally ruin the

    Pros

Not able to recollect any but they pay salary on time . 1.They practice hire and fire policy . 2. Lack of vision , no proper planning, horrible work environment. 3. Substandard ,inept, immature development directors. 4. Dev leads who are far from having any technical abilities, hardly work but steal all the credits .

    Cons

1.They don't have uniform compensation policy or any policy. 2.Year on year revenue collection decreasing, new products aren't selling , most hardwires are into maintenance phase. New SW solutions are on paper ,yet to get translated into products or profit. Advice to new joins : Don't get lured by the money offered , dyeing Overture specially bangalore centre has an expiry date written onto it already. Moreover director-lead duo's politics will kill your peace of mind.

    Advice to Management

Stop wasting time in guessing who would have written this. Instead try to troubleshoot the situation if you want to.

    Pros

You don't have to work too hard, easy to balance work with the rest of your life.

    Cons

The company has no direction, it can't stay on one path for more than a week. Its like you're whipped back and forth every week in a different direction. The company tries to juggle twenty different things and ends up missing on all of them. The average employee is below industry average, which makes it easy to be in the upper echelon here. A lot of people do very little. You also feel like you're never getting the real story when Mr Reedy talks.

    Advice to Management

Start your search for a new career - I'm looking for mine!

    Pros

Happy with pay and work/home balance. Break room snacks and coffee. Have time to dig in and learn new things.

    Cons

Hard to tell where the company is going. Over the last year, plenty of wasted effort. Decision making process isn't clear. Lots of false starts. Product architectures look more like computer science projects than experience-based, realistic approaches. Every new product is a rewrite.

    Advice to Management

Get out of the building for a week. Figure out where you want to be in 3 years. Plot a series of small steps to get there, each of which allow direction changes without starting back at the beginning. Then get into the habit of reviewing it every quarter. Change is OK, but throwing away effort is not. While you're finding your direction, keep your engineers active on short term projects. Stop wasting their work. It is very demoralizing.

    Pros

Good Salary Good benefits Timely updates on company strategy

    Cons

Management and leads in Bangalore, India are very misleading, and highly inept. They hardly do any work except doing meetings and pulling the legs of engineers. The work culture is very bureaucratic, very authoritative, lacks transparency. It is small company culture, people who have been part of big companies please stay away since you will find it very difficult to adjust to it.

    Advice to Management

Wake up, become technically stronger do some homework. Get more involved with the work rather than call for futile meetings all the time.

    Pros

Interesting JAVA work. Good promising projects in Ensemble, Orchestration and SDN Good Salary Good benefits Timely updates on company strategy

    Cons

In this company the shrewd Mallu management have ensured that there is one set of rules and expectations for Mallus and another for rest of company ... This means you can be assured you are not over burdened by work, u can skip DSM.. you given many leave and no one ask when you come and go .. but others have high expectations to meet and are chucked out of the company for even small lapses This company is clearly divided on ethnic & lingual lines and the discrimination is evident though the management thinks it goes unnoticed. small company with big dreams and even bigger politics..... not the right place if you believe in hard work, ethics and fairness.

    Advice to Management

Hope the management @ RTP looks into this un-ethical practice before the current management ruin the life of good engineers

    Pros

Lot of design challenges for FPGA design. Pushing the limits of parts and solving complicated design and timing issues.

    Cons

Smaller company so not much room for growth. Some of the design work seems to be moving overseas. Big picture views for the future, but implementation and meeting customer needs in a timely manner doesn't happen enough.
