Pros
They are very active in the community, family oriented and great with supporting a good work/life balance. It's a very comfortable and casual atmosphere.
Cons
It is difficult to get promoted if you don't fall into a certain category. There can be a bit if politics involved.
Advice to Senior Management
Look at your internal talent at lower levels and provide some grooming to help advance the ranks!
Pros
Nations leading distributor for medical-surgical products into acute care sector. Over 100 years experience in distribution. Technology based solutions.
Cons
Lack of communication between divisions and senior management. Additional resources needed for connecting/training with colleagues across divisions.
Advice to Senior Management
Better define and articulate your vision and strategic business objectives before undertaking a new initiative.
Pros
IF you are an actual employee, you make plenty of money and get great benefits.
Cons
Temp employees are not offered any benefits and are kept as temp employees for years, until their position ends and then they are let go with no help. I was recently told that I was not getting a raise, despite exceeding all job job goals and never taking a day off (because I can't afford to)
Advice to Senior Management
I would treat your temp employees more fairly
Pros
Benefits are good some very good people to work with. There is not much good to say about O&M the company is lacking in thoughtfulness and compassion
Cons
Compensation goes to the few and not the many who actually work for a living. Local management is very short sighted. Little input is allowed by leadership. I would think twice about a career with O&M. Decisions are made via a spreadsheet not individual merit.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to the field and allow for alternative ideas
Pros
Servicing heathcare industry and a key part of providing materias needed to service end users. There is a good sense of pride getting needed product to hospital
Cons
Your work hours (length of shift) varies day to day
Advice to Senior Management

Pros
The Home Office is very supportive all around and always offers words of encouragement to the field offices.
Cons
Lack of recognition and surrounded by people that have little integrity and feel as though they are entitled to their jobs because they have been allowed to get away with so many things over the years.
Advice to Senior Management
Encourage the entire team to take the Code of Honor more serious when it comes to their integrity (or lack thereof) and continue to strive to make it a place that we are proud to work for.
Pros
Corporate Office is very nice, gym, cafeteria, kitchens, etc.
The benefits are great - Medical insurance especially
Cons
Work Life Balance wasn't there and this was not a concern for the upper mgmt.
Salaries are far below similar positions in the area.
Advice to Senior Management
Do not put ridiculous deadlines on projects and allow your associates to have a personal life.
Pros
Work here if you care about making a difference in the cost of healthcare. You may not get rich but you will have a good lifestyle.
Cons
Healthcare Distribution is a challenging industry and budgets and staffing are very lean so all teammates must wear a lot of hats.
Pros
People are great. Customers are fantastic
Cons
Compensation could be better now
Pros
There are a lot of oppurtunities for advancement within the company. Great to start off a career in the medical field
Cons
The downside is that as a pandac analyst, I have more than one boss, and the work environment brings stress.
Advice to Senior Management
There should be more emphasis on employee culture. To elAborate, more interaction between management and employees throughout the company. That would be nice
