    Pros

I have been with the company for over 8 years. I started as a fresh grad and had little sales experience when I joined Oxford. The pros are that Oxford provides great benefits (medical, dental, 401K with matching, ESPP, holidays, PTO), a very lucrative commission structure ($100+ K is truly attainable), excellent training, a proven business model, a structured environment with measurable metrics, support from management, opportunity to grow in your career as a manager, team lead, open a new office, trainer, etc. This business is always changing so it keeps things exciting and fresh. Fun to meet a lot of new people, build relationships, and learn about the companies we work with and their technology. Successful account managers and recruiters can spend their entire career with Oxford. We have many people in the organization with over 20 years of tenure. Great teams. Smaller company feel within a large public company with global presence and stability. The position is a mix of business development, account management, contract negotiation, and issue resolution. Account managers have a lot of control over their accounts. Back office team handles issues in legal, collections, billing, etc. Lots of recognition for successes-including President's Club and monthly contests.

    Cons

The team works a couple evenings per week until 7:30 or 8:00 pm. Difficult if you have a family and need to be home. Some people do not work as well in a structured environment. Takes time to ramp up sales since in most cases recruiters and account managers must build their base of accounts and consultants before billing.

    Advice to Management

    None.

    Pros

Fairly good training for a person new to this industry. Work is focused on high end IT market. The mark-ups are the highest in the country, so better than average commissions can be earned.

    Cons

The management is inconsistent, uncaring towards employees, and doesn't afford any work/life balance. They consistently communicate through email when you are 30 feet away and the message requires a dialogue - waste of time.

    Advice to Management

Meet and speak with employees when required. Do not ask employees to work through the night with 10" notice and no client needs. This way of judging attitude and commitment only serves to create a lack of desire to work there, as evidenced by the turnover.
