    Pros

Company is profitable, and growing, with year over year growth. Opportunity to grow your career is there if you are an individual who is ready to roll up your sleeves, work hard and shine.

    Cons

Alot of processes and procedures, but not everyone knows how to get to them.

I have been working at PC Connection full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

They allow you to pick and choose which companies you want to work with. everyone here is awesome! there is an abundant amount of free food/lunches/breakfast's. Great vacation time when starting out. if you put in the time, you will be rewarded.

    Cons

This isnt really a con, but you start from scratch and build your business. It's mostly described as hard work, which some people dont like to do. At the end of the day, it is not for everyone, just like every job.

I have been working at PC Connection

    Pros

Friendly co-workers, fun atmosphere, great managers.

    Cons

Unprofessional environment at times. Rediculously low compensation for experienced employees. Increased sales = increased workload but, not increased pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start compensating your Wilmington employees appropriately. Stop paying experienced, certified, IT Technicians less than $15/hr.
Next time we do over $1 Billion in sales, don't reward us with cupcakes and a pat on the back. A bonus check or at least an explanation would be appreciated.
Get the lower-level employees more involved in the future of the company.
Be more forthcoming and transparent with financials.
An employee-owned model would do just that.

Earning Potential but Churn and Burn

Current Employee - Account Manager in Merrimack, NH
Current Employee - Account Manager in Merrimack, NH

I have been working at PC Connection full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Lot of earning potential and opportunity to win free trips to concerts sporting events and even weekends away.

    Cons

Not enough training on the products that are sold, base salary is low. It takes a long time to make good money and there is a lack of support to help build up your business. Internal processes are very slow.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need a better way to collaborate with other departments outside of sales. Monthly training classes on new technologies.

I have been working at PC Connection full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The best thing about this company is that you are in control of your paycheck. If you are willing to work hard and do the right things for the first 2 years you will be making the money you are looking for! It is all about seeing the forest through the trees!

    Cons

The first 2 years are difficult, and the pay is low to begin with. Once you establish your book of business the job is much more enjoyable and financially lucrative!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find a way to make the first 2 years a bit easier on the sales people - nobody wants to work for 25K a year!

    Cons

Company is primarily about sales - but not too much in your face about it. Constrained to Microsoft technology stack
