    Pros

    Work here is like a family. And the international standards are the principal rule every moment.

    Cons

    Is so stress work without tools because the money is not enough for materials. It is so difficult.

    I have been working at PDVSA

    Pros

    It is the best oil company in Venezuela. Also, most of the oil and gas companies work for PDVSA. in addition, other important companies work as a partner with PDVSA.

    Cons

    It s very difficult to grow up in the company because evaluations are done based on friendship.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    It is necessary to give opportunities to workers based on knowledge. Also, post grade studies should be taken to give salaries increase, bonus, rewards, and new positions.

    Pros

    Great team work atmosphere between the employees.

    Cons

    Anual salary too low. Loosing of experienced personal during the last years making more difficult the operation.

    The work environment is very freindly eventhoug the pay is low since it is a goverment company. PDVSA is a company that invest in the education of its employees.

    Cons

    The pay is very low if you are not a foreigner.

    * Nice opportunities to grow up and learn.
    * Relatively well paid.
    * Opportunities to travel.

    Cons

    * The low level management is really messy.
    * Politics are pretty much involved in the whole work.

    This company can really help a non experience engineer to learn a lot and grow as a professional, but later the salary isn't good enough sometimes to keep people in there.

    It is a good chance to learn. There are many places inside the company where you can go and learn. You can do many things by yourself

    Challenges comes up every day. There are many situation where you can participate and get a good experience in differents activities like energy generation, energy transmission or energy distribution

    You should participate in government concentrations and be part of their political tendency. The decisions are made only in the head office and the others do not have opinions.

    Each person has their own opinion and you must respect it. You have too much talent in this company and they must advance even when they don't have the same political tendency
