Pros
The people that work there made it a great place to work in spite of management.
Cons
One senior manager had a bad attitude towards employees and was disrespectful when perfection was not achieved.
Advice to Senior Management
It may be cheaper to offshore the work but any savings achieved are lost by the amount of rework that has to be done and the number of people having to check and recheck the work.
Pros
Decent base salary, although the overall compensation plan continues to be lowered every year.
Cons
Too many management changes, high turn over, old content that is behind the competition and over priced, many new solutions that have loop holes and need further improvement and lack of support in the field because of constant changes. The only promotional opportunities go to the same corporate housed upper management who are not from an educational background and don't fully understand their customer or the what is going on in the field.
Pros
base salary and commission plan
Cons
frequent changes in sales strategies/territory alignment; consistently high turnover in sales/sales management negatively impacting client relationships and corporate revenue
Advice to Senior Management
Develop and implement a sales strategy encouraging longterm client relationships and reducing sales staff turnover.
Pros
Friendly people, good product and good market opportunities for our product
Cons
Competency of some managers are limited.
Pros
Good benefits and excellent pay. Some managers are excellent as are some of the executive team. Training was fairly extensive and plenty of opportunity for self-training. Much of the product is good and the current business model is good. They have cleaned up a lot of old practices and improved many business practices.
Cons
Tough to transition old customers to new products, expensive and not the very best compared to newer competitive products available. A lot of bitter in fighting within the sales force which makes life hard for new hires. Watch your back. Most turnover I have seen in an organization which is costly and says alot about the company. Many of the best folks are fired or leave...
Advice to Senior Management
High turnover is not good for a company, and indicates there is either a hiring problem or a firing problem.
