Pros – ok to good development/verify process management. But toolset way lags behind average industry.
Design/verify flow is effective and no unnecessary fansy/useless stuff.

Cons – Poor salary, way not compatitive.
Virtually zero bonus over years.
Bad stock performance.
Management not very fair.
Small company but too much inter-people calculations.
Less respect for engineers work compared to other parts of the world.

Pros – Storage division was acquired from a company called oxford semiconductor. People are very friendly. Pay are good

Cons – Company basically break even. It is stressful sometime for your job security. The Taiwanese chip company lunch relectless price war on chip industory. Life is hard for good people.

Advice to Senior Management – Keep your good working and thinking of new way to earn more revenue.

Pros – Very competent technical team. Market leader in terms of market share. Management very approachable. Feels like you've working at a startup.

Cons – None of the potential benefits of working at a startup. Unrealistic and unreasonable schedules in the past 3 years have left the engineering team with very low morale.

Advice to Senior Management – Market leader should mean not just having the largest market share but being able to tell customers what they need instead of just doing what they want. Be confident and say no to customers, if you dont eventually you wont have much talent left in your engineering team in the near future.

Pros – Got good salary to start with and due to the small size of the company, lots of visual presence.

Cons – Lots of bad politics, favoritism existed in the workplace. No flexibility and the HR was not helpful at all when dealing with solving any issues.

Advice to Senior Management – Change your attitude and PLEASE give some respect to the people who really work and not the MIDDLE MANAGEMENT who just take all the credit for nothing.
