Pros
Pay
Growth Potential
Management
Ability to work from home
Depending on account, lots of overtime
Family Atmosphere
Cons
Account your working on could be sold
Advice to Senior Management
Need to be more apt in terminating unproductive employees
Pros
When talking to the home office in Houston, some people were very helpful and you coud count on them.
Cons
Higher ups in the home office were very hard to get a hold of. Should you need an answer quickly you never knew when they would get back to you.
Advice to Senior Management
Mean what you say and follow through. Especially on property sites. Have more contact.
Pros
Good benefits and flexible with time when needed.
Cons
Worked for the company over 20years and the pay reflects more of someone who just hired on. Employees are WAY TOO OFTEN overlooked for raises. Discouraged by management to inquire to HR about salary.
Advice to Senior Management
Review all employees' salaries that have been with the company 20plus years to see if it competes with todays market...then be honest and compensate accordingly.
Pros
Large professional company, good benefits.
Cons
Way too many forms and reporting procedures. Managers do not support administrative staff and are hired/fired/transferred leaving the admins in the wake of the mess.
Advice to Senior Management
Value your administrative support team.
Pros
The Mgmt. staff has been great in regards to time off for family emergencies. The middle Mgmt. was great!
Cons
Upper Mgmt did not pass information down that often, and was just okay to work with.
Advice to Senior Management
Speak to your employees more often. It makes a difference.
Pros
PM Realty is a great company to work for. Everyone in the company is extremely helpful and employees work with each other to accomplish projects and goals for the company. There is always someone to help you. Room for growth and opportunities for promotion are available and management encourages growth within the company.
Cons
Although there are should be annual salary increases based on performance, employees may be overlooked. More detailed information about the company's performance/business could be provided for all employees. Training for new employees and available positions can be improved.
Advice to Senior Management
Implement a program to recognize and reward employees with salary increases/bonuses/etc.
Pros
There are a lot of areas within the company to move up as long as you have the education, experience, and drive to do so. Also if there are job openings in other offices for a similar position or other positions that you could qualify for the ability to transfer is very high.
Cons
They don't offer any paid maternity leave, which I don't think is fair. If you don't work on site at a property you do not get offered bonuses, unless you are a supervisor of some sort. The annual raises to the employees don't really make a difference to your paycheck at all.
Advice to Senior Management
Well maybe to be more aware of the little people that do all the work to make the company flourish. To take into account that just because the inflation of the ecomony isn't affecting their pocket book doesn't mean that everyone is doing fine. To realize that their employees salaries aren't changing but the economy is and to maybe consider to meet them somewhere in the middle. The happiness of the employee affects the ending product that makes their company profitable so if the employees work load steadily increases along with the everyday expenses to run the employees household but their salary doesn't, eventually the employee will either be less productive or seak employment elsewhere.
