Pros
Good technical work and technically competent superiors. Good relaxed environment with great work life balance and flexibility.
Cons
The compensation is relatively lower than most competitor and other ASIC companies.
Pros
The company has very deep and strong technical background
you can definitely learn a lot of professional knowledge about the telecommunication industry
Cons
The company is somehow lack of passion
Pros
More responsibility is given based on ones interest, otherwise you were not considered. Basically if you are proactive then you are projected properly and lots of room to grow.
Cons
Not everyone can be proactive, if you are not you will not be given enough importance to grow. Which is very bad if one is not proactive. More driven by customers which should not be the criteria, rather have a strong product and attract the customers...
Advice to Senior Management
Please update standards of salaries as per the market.
Pros
Good work/life balance and able to take time off when needed. Best paying tech company in Vancouver area. Can take ownership of work and feel proud to work there.
Cons
Same problem as a lot of tech companies... managers are engineers that aren't trained to lead. Too much micromanaging leads to inefficiencies.
Pros
Engineering teams are pretty Good!
But the management is not that great
Cons
they do not pay you much
Pros
Learning a lot, flexible working time
Cons
the training is not good.
Advice to Senior Management
nothing
Pros
good benefit, good working environment
Cons
document everything take too much time
Pros
Employment is stable, since their products are usually large contracts to other big companies. Work environment is not as competitive as other companies, everyone is friendly and mature. Managers are also understanding and lets you get t he work done. Not a lot of office politics, everyone is about getting a product out.
Cons
If you like a very competitive and high paying environment, then you should look for work in companies similar to Apple. The pay isn't as high as other companies because they are more relaxed.
Pros
cool peers, cool job, cool salary, what else can you ask for ! Freebies , perks are pretty good and so is the social life/events !
Cons
Need to have more team outings to mingle and build the team spirit .
Pros
Good salary and publicly known. One of the biggest IT company in BC, Canada and well regogized among othersemiconductor company.
Cons
Stock value is very low for many years and management needs to look at it to improve it as soon as possible.
Advice to Senior Management
