Former Employee – worked at PMI
Pros – The work hours were from 9 to 5. People respond to your emails quickly. Opportunity to travel to many different countries of the world (more for the business/member support than for IT).
Cons – Things at PMI moved very slowly and that may be typical of the non-profit organization. They were also slow to adhere to new methodologies and processes. Although individuals responded quickly to email request I found that the organization as a whole moved slowly to take advantage of new technologies/processes and procedures. Requesting time off was not a problem. For a world class organization I felt they should have been up to date with the use of technology

Current Employee – been working at PMI
Pros – Friendly team. Great Human Resources. Medium sized company. A lot of opportunity for growth and advancement. Make quality products. A lot of outside company sponsored events.
Cons – PMI Shanghai is an all Asian office. It is a totally different culture over there. Many teams you work on projects by yourself.
Advice to Senior Management – Everyone is friendly and helpful. CO workers helped a lot in getting me acclimated to PMI. Keep up the good work.

Current Employee – been working at PMI
Pros – Excellent Benefits and relaxed place to work. The workbees all feel the same, no promotions based on performance. And they had the nerve to try to apply for "BEST PLACES TO WORK".......COME ON MAN!!!!!
Cons – Unless you are kissing someones a** you will not be promoted. Promotions are not about what you know and your overall performance, its based upon WHO you know.
Advice to Senior Management – whats the point
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
