I worked at PNC Financial Services Group (more than an year)

    Pros

Loved my customers. Benefits are good, very friendly people, great atmosphere depending on the manager

    Cons

Merit increases are LOW. Raises are minimal. Upper management tends to hire from the outside for branch managers. A lot of nepotism going on, which is very frustrating to many employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire from within. The future of Personal Bankers is leaning toward being an outside sales person, because PNC pushes customers very hard to bank on line. Older people with sizeable assets don't like the shift. It's becoming more of a young people's bank.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
