Pros
Great working atmosphere and get along with co-workers
Cons
Work independently all the time
Pros
fairly simple work, benefits, great pay compared to other jobs, a corporate company structure with a way to move up the scale (not so much the payment scale).
Cons
management works really hard with very little pay at times, very large turnover rate, corporate company so everything is official as far as time off, etc.
Advice to Senior Management
You're doing awesome! Keep treating your employees the way you wish to be treated and your turnover rate will decrease.
Pros
The pay is pretty decent. But considering the amount of bull crap you have to put with is not worth it
Great for single college who dont have a life.
Cons
Upper management picks favorites and if your not on your screwed.
There is only so far you can advance.
And never quit w/o a two week notice b/c they will continually black ball you and make you miss out on a lot of new job opportunities!
Advice to Senior Management
Stop showing favoritism and tell people the truth. Stop recruiting innocent college kids with the promise of a GREAT career!
Pros
pay was decent but quotas difficult to attain.
Cons
some unethical practices to retain clients.
Pros
If you work for the DirecTV account, then you are able to get the largest package for free and all you have to pay for are for any additional services you may need.
Cons
Upper management is extremely unprofessional exhibiting irrational behavior and raising their voices as if the staff under them (middle management and sales agents) are toddlers.
Advice to Senior Management
With the corporate drama that occurs within PRC, I would not even wish to advance any further than the position that I was in.
Pros
The only pro is the 45 min lunch. There are not 20 words to say in the pro column but that this is the worse company I have ever worked for.
Cons
Low pay, poor benefits, have to buy your own supplies. Only does what benefits the company. Some people have been there ten yrs and were switched to a diff contract and were dropped down by $4hr per hr.There basic attitude is if u don't like it can leave. Because they do call center work for diff companies you have just as much security here as if u were working for a temp agency.
Advice to Senior Management
Once the job market picks up - I think u will see a lot people quitting. Stop running the company like a slave plantation.
Pros
They have nice vacation and benefits packages.
Cons
Not supportive of career advancement
Advice to Senior Management
Notice when people are capable and willing to move upward.
Pros
somewhat decent pay and can make ok friends
Cons
tooooo much favortism, and mandatory OT
Advice to Senior Management
Go get a real job and stoop having favoritsm on those who kiss the most behind
Pros
PRC pays competitively, has some good managers and team leaders, and seems ready to pull out of bankruptcy stronger than before.
Cons
I can say, with no hyperbole, PRC staffs some of the dumbest human beings I've ever known. They pay their call center drones low wages, so it's full of either college kids who are working part time or the kind of people who still work lousy call center jobs when they're 30 or 40 or 50. The turnover rate is sky high because they won't hire people who will show up to work. They seem to promote team leaders based entirely on if they're friends with the higher ups, so you get the blind leading the blind. The team leaders are just as stupid and clueless as the people they are supposed to be leading. Terrible.
Advice to Senior Management
Up the requirements for a call center employee from "warm body" and pay them a little bit more so you can refuse to hire any call center trash that shimmies in through the door. Stop laying people off and refusing to fill the position.
Pros
near by home - flexible in time off -
ok for seniors
Cons
you have to work 100%
Advice to Senior Management
start paying better
