I worked at PRO-telligent (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Salary, benefits, personnel. The only employer I have had that gave bonuses.

    Cons

None that I experienced while with the company.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work and effort for those who support you out-of-office.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Great benefits. I remember the benefits were great. However, for the level of stress management created by letting issues infest, it was necessary.

    Cons

Management was not supportive of personnel assigned on site at client's building. I warned them they would lose a contract should they continue to allow an employee to continue to abuse other pro-telligent personnel and manipulating client's decisions. By 2012, the company lost it's numbers from 120 to 30 on site. However, they had let me go by then.

    Advice to Management

    Get a pair.

    I worked at PRO-telligent full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

For the first 8 years working for PRO-telligent was like working with Family. Everyone worked together, we felt like a team. Mangement was always on our side, executives engaged and assisted, it was truly a great place to work for.

    Cons

The last two years the company fell apart after being taken over by Tetra Tech. Everything changed, the company morale decreased immensely,

    Advice to Management

Provide cross training, build company morale, do more with your staff

    Cons

declining contracting market with government agencies.

  8. PRO-telligent no longer exists

    I worked at PRO-telligent full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

PRO-telligent was a great place to work prior to being acquired by TetraTech.

    Cons

PRO-telligent no longer exists. What is left are people who are miserable and looking to leave if they have not already. TetraTech was heartless in the way people were laid-off. Lay-offs were purposely done at the end of the month which caused people to lose their health insurance with only a day or two notice. TetraTech executives were very clear that they didn't care.

    Advice to Management

Consider being truthful in your communications.

    I worked at PRO-telligent full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Most of the people working around the office are good people and fun to be around

    Cons

Unstable environment, management since previous owners left has no backbone and refuses to challenge both government and other customers to protect the company and staff best interest.

    Advice to Management

Let PRT go back to what it does best and dont try and change the company to reflect only what TT can handle

I have been working at PRO-telligent full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most of the personnel in travel and management are great -- responsible, responsive, professional. I would work for them again.

    Cons

If you get the wrong account manager for your contract, you can have very serious problems -- and I mean dangerous, not merely inconvenient. The only reason I'm not giving a higher rating is because of the particular manager over my contract.

    Advice to Management

Maybe not a good idea to put a very young person who has barely even travelled internationally in charge of contracts in a war zone. This happened under the former owners, though, and I believe Tetra Tech, the current owners, would be more responsible.

    I worked at PRO-telligent full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Not a whole lot of micro management.

    Cons

I felt on m y own at the client site. They didn't know everything that was going on at the site.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate better with Client Management
