I have been working at PSAV full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

People are generally good to work with. Lots of opportunities for advancement. Company is growing very fast and they need to fill positions. Trend is to fill from within, so if you start at the bottom and show that you have potential, you can move up quick.

    Cons

Training has been a major concern, but it is getting much better in recent months. Pay seems a bit low when considering the industry. But the hours are good, so it probably evens out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue the training initiatives and get the sales and operation's computer systems worked out.

I worked at PSAV full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great training program with continued opportunity to train and learn new skills. Ability to relocate just about anywhere in the US.

    Cons

Mixed employee satisfaction, hotel location is a huge factor in day to day work environment. Not easy to climb the company ladder.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to provide more opportunities for regional employees to come together. Need to communicate with all employees on job and site satisfaction rather then communicating with the location director who very often is the primary problem.

    Pros

Benefits were good. Amount of vacation/personal and sick time hours were good.

    Cons

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employees really need a good work-life balance.

    Nice people.
Great if you would like to learn more about AV.

    Cons

    Pay sucks.
    Benefits suck.
Work is under appreciated. Long crazy hours with unhappy people who wish they were doing something else.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at PSAV full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Good opportunity to work with VIP client and free food.

    Cons

The hourly salary is unfair .($14-17/hr)
The door is highly open for Middle east or Arabic technicians . Specifically Washington DC Marriott hotel locations .
If you know some one and you are from Mid east , even you do not have AV skills ,you can get the job easily .
There is no growth opportunity unless you are in fever of management .
