    Customer Service Rep ll

Tier II Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) Auburn Hills, MI

ProsGood benefits if needed; health, dental. 401 K matched by company. PTO is 2 weeks from start; increases with length of employment. Customer Service oriented; fellow employees some of the nicest people I have ever worked with.

ConsAttendance requirements are not flexible due to nature of business (call center). Sitting in a cubicle attached to a headset can become monotonous.

Advice to Senior ManagementTrain your Call Center Supervisors. Too much discrepancy between supervisors and how they interact with employees.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Opportunities for OT

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsOvertime - A lot of overtime opportunities

ConsTime-off - Not really family oriented, they don't care if your mother is in the hospital, they still give you a hard time about leaving

DO NOT WORK HERE!!!! IT IS A NIGHTMARE!!!!

Member Service Representative (Current Employee) Southgate, MI

ProsFree Fruit!!! There are no Pros to a job that will not pay you according to the cost of living.

ConsThe pay is horrible, 11.06 per hour!!! and mandatory overtime, and they will not work with you on scheduling. And the Medical Benefits cost is unaffordable, once you pay for all the benefits, your check is only about $600 every 2wks. I would not recommend this company to friend or foe!!! It's a depressed environment, most people are miserable here. THE JOB SUCKS!!!! And Management, stop posting fake reviews about how great this job is because it's not. PAY YOUR PEOPLE!!!! BUNCH OF SUCK UPS ON HERE!!!

Advice to Senior ManagementWords to management, if you want to retain good talent, pay people a living wage!!! Minimum wage has gone up to $10 per hour. You need to at least pay $12.84-14 per hour. a lot of your employees are getting bridge cards because they can't afford anything else after they try to pay their bills out of that sorry check. Can't wait to find a new job!!!, it's 2014 don't you get it!!! And they don't tell you the truth when they're hiring you, they tell you your schedule is going to 9-6 and you have something totally different. You have to work every saturday and sunday until the next shift bid, which is based on your performance not your seniority. Can't stand this place, I'm online everyday looking for another job.

    Moving Forward!

    (Current Employee)

ProsCompany is moving forward and truly making a name and brand image for itself; Nice benefits; People care for and about each other. The company supports its values which were decided upon by the employees.

ConsMoving forward requires a lot of changes, some easier to put into place than others.

Advice to Senior ManagementContinue treating employees as the company's most valuable asset and that will remain the key to success.

Worst Call Center I've worked for

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) Saint Petersburg, FL

ProsBenefits, they are good. If you were unemployed or want the overtime there is plenty of it. The trainers are very nice and a few of the supervisors on the contact center floor are. There are some genuinely helpful & nice people on the contact center floor

ConsRequired Overtime. Lack of working with contact center employees over concerns with the required overtime, computers/software not working, supervisors not knowing the products but you as a contact center rep are supposed to know and support all of them. New people are shunned by the people who have been there longer, so it takes 6-9 months to make friends. You have no assigned seat so better come in early when it's required overtime to find a computer that works with whatever software you need to run to do your job. You will be penalized for time off the phone because of software issues or if you had a bit too much water to drink. If you have a suggestion about how to make something easier for contact center reps don't expect it to be implemented anytime soon or at all. Working after 6:30 pm on weekdays or weekends, don't expect to get anyone help from anyone who knows more than one product.

Advice to Senior ManagementSome of the values that are plastered everywhere in buildings directly contradict what really goes on. It would be nice to get the departments together and work as a unit, rather than operate with their own agendas and rules. Please teach your supervisors all the products rather than the basic product, it helps no one when you are training for products and putting people under supervisors that have no idea what you are talking about.

    Not the best

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsEverything was very clean. It does look very pretty and they do maintain appearance. I'm sure if you don't work in customer service, you probably do enjoy your job.

ConsVery cubicle farmish. It has a very just out of high-school, first job feel. They won't allow you to have personal items at your desk, you have to get a locker each day. You are not allowed to have anything to write with, or paper. Was not very happy to say the least. If you work in another department, it's probably great.

    Advice to Senior ManagementNone.

Four plus years with the company started great, got worse every year since.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThe company has great benefits and does offer a fair share of overtime and there is no hard labor, but besides that they are very few good things about this company.

ConsSupervisors who abuse they power, low pay for MI employees, change of policy without notice, favoritism to certain employees, uncomfortable work environment, no loyalty to employees with sorority. Dead end job for certain individuals.

Advice to Senior ManagementShow more loyalty to employees with sorority who helped build the brand and helped the company grow. Bring back monthly bonus, make changes in management in MI call centers
