Hard to move up or around within the company since it is based on very specific contracts with the government

I have been working at PTFS full-time

    Pros

None, I would not recommend this company to a friend or anyone. My recommendation would be to avoid PTFS. There is no potential for growth and they corporate culture is disgusting.

    Cons

The company is government contractor they are in it for the money. They don't care about there employees or keeping people on board for the long term. Bad culture

    Pros

I did not see any pros to working with this organization.

    Cons

There is a power struggle as to who is in charge of their contractors. Pretty bad work conditions to work in. (dirty office space. Cancer causing dirt etc.)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stay professional.

I have been working at PTFS full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

They do make an effort to place you in a good fit with the on site company.

    Cons

If you care about work/life balance, look somewhere else. The difficulty of negotiating maternity leave was a headache. They only want you to be gone for the bare minimum of medical needs and do not encourage longer leave for bonding purposes, which FMLA allows for IF the employer agrees.

I, and others at my site, have had many problems with PTFS living up to verbal promises. They do not keep up a relationship with you, so why would they fight for you as long as they have a body in the position?

I have stayed because my on site company has been great.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Invest in your employees more.

    Pros

Very friendly and personal with easy to talk to staff at all levels! There's a great team spirit where all want to succeed together and for each other!

    Cons

As with all small companies, budgets are tight. They respect their employees and do as much as they can afford to keep us all happy!
