I worked at Pacific Convenience & Fuels full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – I was able to have a flexible schedule while going to college. I cant think of any other pros but need to meet the twenty word quota.
Cons – I worked for conoco phillips when pcand f bought all the gas stations. To give an Idea, the company was unable to sell alcohol for about a week because someone failed to make sure all permits were in place. The company continues to fumble its way through the business 3 years later. I never saw a raise...
Advice to Senior Management – Take care of the face of your company, customer service reps are where your business comes from....
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

I worked at Pacific Convenience & Fuels full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – For all the negatives the employees get along well. Almost an unspoken pledge to not make things worse for each other.
Cons – Mediocre benefits, low salaries, no structure for raises and reviews, and an egomaniac owner. The owner has no sense of appreciation of the employees. Managers are afraid to stand up to the owner for fear of losing their jobs.
Advice to Senior Management – Grow a spine.

I worked at Pacific Convenience & Fuels full-time for less than a year
Pros – Made extra cash while I was looking for another job. That aside, none.
Cons – I worked 60-75 hour work weeks, regularly. Got paid barely above minimum wage. Got sick, doctors wanted me out of work for a few weeks to run some tests and let me rest (since the condition was thanks to being so overworked)- Instead of giving me a few weeks off, they fired me for being sick, since I couldnt be their pack mule anymore.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay your managers more, respect your employees, and actually care about your hard working employees.

I have been working at Pacific Convenience & Fuels
Pros – Compensation is fair enough and company does a good job with work/life balance. Some of management is excellent. Most co-workers get along fairly well.
Cons – Complete lack of communication within the company. High turnover rate, especially in corporate and accounting department. Lack of processes and procedures in place. Higher management is very reactive vs. proactive. District and store management is very spotty - some good, others not at all.
Advice to Senior Management – Put processes and procedures in place, improve communicaiton within the company so all employees are on the same page. Create and distribute employee handbook outlining company policies. Begin acknowledging and commending good work across all departments and disciplining (and in some cases weeding out) employees and management who are not performing.
