    Pros

Great environment, I like the work schedule because it allows for more days off per week. Nice people, great benefits.

    Cons

Driving distance was too far from home, Payday were too far apart. Overtime need on short notice. Not a big selection as far as insurance providers.

    Pros

Great schedule for factory work. 3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off. Competitive pay and very secure work as far as I could tell. Culture is fun and friendly but at the same time very cynical. I really enjoyed my time working here.

    Cons

A lot of crossed signals in management. Big reverberating screw-ups happened all the time because of simple communication and supply line errors. Because it's food processing some of the work can be pretty gross when it comes to clean-up and disposal.

    Pros

Good pay raises at review and decent wage. However, compared to the cost of living in Tualatin you don' have much left over. The long shifts you work give 3 to 4 days off a week. They don't mind if you're a slow worker.

    Cons

Poorly maintaned equipment. Lack of care to fix safety problems. Those that work hardest don't get ahead while the laziest get ahead with more pay or promotions. Lot of people related to eachother or friends with management get more pay and or better shifts. Favortism in management. Unreasonable work expectations with what you're given to work with. Cold climate in buildings in the winter. Severe hot temps. in the summer along with having to wear coveralls over your clothes with poor air ventalation. Not flexiable about what shift you work or changing it.

    Advice to Management

    Changes need to be made.

    Pros

Pacific Foods, a growing and successful company, works hard to provide competitive benefits and compensation to their employees. There is a strong effort in all departments to promote from within and many of the employees have worked their way from the bottom.

    Cons

The company has it's growing pains, but nothing is truly abysmal about the company. I would say the greatest area to improve is their employee involvement and rewards program.

    Pros

Owner is so kind and always think about employees, upper level executives too helpful and try to make changes for good of employee. Benefits like health coverage is really attractive.

    Cons

There is really no connection with Supervisors, upper level Executives and general employees, it's a real mass. Everybody like doing staff what ever they like, no decepline at all. General employees are not properly educated and not helpful at all. You will never hear anything from HR at all or even you call never find them. Lots of products are wasting for lack of knowledge. There should be staff and team leader proper communication, and seniors should be brief properly. Work atmosphere is really not up to date because of not professional employee.

    Advice to Management

Recruit proper and educated people and train the supervisors how to deal with general employee. More connection with HR.

    Pros

Practice what they preach in sustainablf food production with quality ingredients. Great employee discounts on company brand foods, decent pay and diverse schedules.

    Cons

long hours, many positions are in a warehouse environment and not all employees believe in company values.

    Advice to Management

Hourly pay should be reflective of each employees education, even within the same position. Employees with more education should receive higher pay than their counterparts that lack the equivalent accomplishment.

    Pros

Decent benefits, large amounts of overtime and rotating schedule allowed for a bit of free time each week.

    Cons

Very high turnover lead to high stress environment. Management was rarely seen unless there was a problem. Lack of communcation between levels of management lead to confusion and stress.

    Advice to Management

Make more of a presense and follow up with suggestions.
