    Pros

Good pay, I have nothing else good to say about them.

    Cons

They think you should be able to be the work of 2 people and expect you to be able to get it done fast. They constantly pressure and put you down if your not up to their standards even though you try your best.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and give them a positive environment. They will want to work harder for you. You work in a nice office, you don't know what it's like to work out in those conditions with you pressuring your employees on top of it.

  3. Good Employee-Owned Company

    Pros

When it comes to benefits, they do very well, especially with their Employee Stock Ownership Plan, which is a retirement plan that is extremely good, especially since all of it is contributed by the company. They pay better than average for the same position in most cases. Also, as long as you are willing to not make waves and just do things their way, you can achieve a lot here. There is great opportunity for people with a real drive for operations.

    Cons

The top management are all about operational excellence with little regard for people. There is also a "good old boys club" mentality. Either you're related to somebody or you're willing to schmooze. Keep your ideas to yourself because they don't want to hear them.

    Advice to Management

Read up on leadership books and be humble enough to realize that diversity of ideas leads to true greatness. Also, try treating your employee-owners like real owners and see what happens. You might be surprised.
