    Pros

-Free coffee -Paid good money to donate blood for filter experiments -Decent pay for a new Analyst -Cafeteria -Week off between Christmas and New Years

    Cons

Company changed when Kingsley took over. He said his way of doing things would be different, but it was same ol' boys club. A decent company morale began disintegrating with the sale of the Blood lab... And from what I see and hear, at least half the people ( maybe More like two thirds) I knew at Pall were axed, or just got fed up and left.

    Advice to Management

Nothing. Pall as I knew it five years ago no longer exists and will never again exist now that Danaher bought it.

    Pros

Competitive pay and benefits Stable Great time off

    Cons

As costs are cut, the services to employees have suffered. Unknown changes coming with the recent sale.

    Advice to Management

Remember happy employees make happy customers.

    Pros

Not many. A paycheck. Shutdown. Business casual attire. Some of the people, who are starting to either be laid off or just leave because they see the writing on the wall.

    Cons

Poor Management - from Executive to lower level. Many layoffs, no position seems secure. Highly paid people loafing around while the lower level people have to burn many hours trying to pick up the slack. Company practices in hiring and retaining consultants and pays them ridiculous sums to be there for multiple years. Low morale. Poor pay. Awful culture

    Advice to Management

Wake up and smell the coffee - you have killed this company. It's a shell of what it was. It's a dumpster fire in the middle of hot July day. Stay away, especially now there has been the acquisition.

    Pros

    Smart, dedicated employees. Interesting projects.

    Cons

Very limited opportunity for advancement in the scientific track. Management only interested in the bottom line, and increasing their stock value. Huge brain drain in recent years.

    Advice to Management

Keep your hard-working talent and promote from within.

    Pros

There are some incredibly bright and hard working people at Pall. For those who drive and live Long Island the location is a plus. Vacation time is generous.

    Cons

There is no job security. Lay offs this past year have been severe. Some have left big holes in the support structure.

    Advice to Management

    Employees matter.

German origin, great management, company pays overtime even for the salaried employees if project allowance. Best stock option plan ever.

    Pros

Great people who understand the medical and biopharmaceutical market. Company is well known in the industry and enables networking with some of the top KOLs in the field. Good place to work for those interested in getting experience at a big industrial or life sciences company.

    Cons

Upper management does not address problems with departments that aren't contributing. A bit of an "old boys club" with few women in the senior management positions.
