    Pros

The best reason was the company car which was a Audi. The salary was very good as well.

    Cons

The company is terrible ran doing the same thing year after year and failing every time. The television business that they used to own was a disaster and those running it into the ground were never held accountable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Why bother, they won't change anything. They brought in a new president and her first communication to the sales after being there over 4 months was a mass email to let them know they would be fired. She could also use a little advice on dressing to project a professional image and not a 50 year old teenage wannabe.

    Pros

good career opportunity from an experience stand point, specially in the product management role because you are exposed to a lot of disciplines within the business role

    Cons

not so much cons but the company needs to have more of a career path for employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

to work on developing a path for the young employees that are loyal to Panasonic

    Pros

    Good salary and benefits
Great team members (or use to be)
The shell of a great company is still there and the possibility of becoming one again exists

    Cons

It does not matter if you are the best possible employee available. Hit numbers, provide spot on forecasts, work well with others, do everything asked. If a new upper management is brought in they will bring in there "good old boys or girls" and your loyalty and performance is shown the door.

As they downsize staff the overwork the people left. This hurts not only employee moral but results to the customer as well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a look and at performance of employees when making changes and reward those who preform.

Might be time to review 7 basic principles the company was founded on.

    Pros

Colleagues were great, but rarely given a chance to utilize their talents. Many of the talented people are jumping ship for competitors.

    Cons

Lack of focus, no clear direction, no raises in years, no regard for work-life balance, empty promises for improvement, completely disorganized.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees with the respect they deserve. Don't be so reactive all the time. Create an environment that makes people proud to work for you.

    Pros

zero, nothing is worth the price of your sanity.

    Cons

IMO, this company is the most inefficient business that will end up driving you absolutely crazy. Please do yourself and your family a favor and do your research and talk to as many sales people as your can before accepting any position with Panasonic. Do you know, I worked for PSCNA for almost 4 years and I NEVER received a written detailed comp plan on how I was getting paid ??? I gave up asking. These plans seemed to have changed on the fly. Save your sole .... look somewhere else.
