I have been working at Panduit full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I have been with the company for four months now and the change that is taking place is very exciting. The management here is very open to suggestions for improvement and change. I'm not hearing that old phrase "that's how we've always done it." Instead I'm hearing, "Those are great ideas. Lets get them implemented!"
The people I work with are very helpful and the projects I am working on make me feel fulfilled.

    Cons

The only con I can think of is that there is not a "work-from-home" policy. This is one of those changes that will need to take place in the near future to attract talent to the suburbs. I strongly feel that this will take place soon.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to stay open minded and embrace change as you have.

    Pros

Good pay, flexible hours, friendly employees very open to helping/teaching

    Cons

Easy to confuse products when I wasn't familiar with them

I worked at Panduit part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Very transparent management for even low level team members.

    Cons

Shift changes or time off requests can sometimes be unpredictable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be great to have a more fleshed out internship/hire-within program. Panduit has always done very well hiring from within, but they could benefit from more of a tiered approach vs. "Hey we tend to hire from within… you should try to apply!"

I have been working at Panduit part-time

    Pros

At Panduit you get roughly 2 weeks vacation per year to start. 5 paid sick days and good health benefits. Overall very friendly atmosphere to work and great pay.

    Cons

nature of work is rather boring and monotonous, depending on the shift, management tends to talk down to the employees. Otherwise overall there is not much that can be said about this company on the negative side.

I have been working at Panduit

    Pros

Panduit offers an excellent benefits package including continuing education program, and they offer a challenging work environment. They are a large company, yet small enough that the average employee can feel like they can make an impact.

    Cons

There may be excessive focus on top talent as opposed to the growth and development of every employee. As is common with large corporations, any employee must be able to deal with change management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more open with the intents of your actions, both short- and long-range. Your employees are intelligent and can see underlying motives.

    I worked at Panduit

    Pros

Had a wonderful career at Panduit and left on good terms. Forward thinking. Constantly drive change to differentiate. Big investor in new product development.

    Cons

Recently moved to a complex matrix structure which slows decision making. Took away large amount of empowerment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lean up the corporate office. Invest in the regions and field. Continue to invest in innovative products and programs.
