    Pros

All of he beliefs of the company are fantastic, how they give back to the community, make quality products and want to treat the employees, etc.

    Cons

The pay is somewhat low for the work expected of you. It would also be better if they promoted more from within

    Advice to Management

Need to promote more from within the company to assistant manager, general manager, jvp, etc. there is a lot of hiring from outside the company and that frustrates the current employees

    Pros

The money is great, but that's because I work hard for the tips, the store doesn't pay nearly as much as they should for this position.

    Cons

The stress is non stop, then you're constantly disrespected from management when they couldn't do the job to save their lives.

    Advice to Management

To earn respect not just expect it when you're rude and have no clue what you're doing.

    Pros

Free food, decent benefits, not much else

    Cons

Lots of stress, limited time to do required paperwork while having courses and sessions added on

    Advice to Management

Treat you employees like more than gophers. Don't ask for more and more without providing to means to get this done.

    Pros

I don't really understand where most of the reviewers are coming from. Bee with the company 5 yrs. love my job. Started out as a cashier, then associate trainer, then shift supervisor, now assistant manager, hoping to be gm. Great growth potential. All you have to do is what they ask of you. Learn customers names orders...be super nice. Stock and clean well.

    Cons

It can be stress full. But as long as all the pieces work together, it is rewarding. I work at one of the busiest lunch crowd stores in the nation. Most of our staff would bleed for you. Great people who need to be treated with respect and rewarded. It doesn't take a lot. I make special situations for them.

    Pros

The atmosphere is fantastic. It really makes you feel like you are in a good place. Employees are treated very well overall. Panera hires from a great pool of people. Flexible hours. Not to mention the great food! Also most of the managers I have interacted with are very laid back and friendly

    Cons

Decent pay, could have been a little higher. Wasn't a fan of not being able to take extra food after closing for the day (not sure if this is still restricted)

    Pros

Good cookies. The customers are very nice.

    Cons

Terrible management who constantly lie and mock employees.

    Advice to Management

Quit. Every manager that worked while I was employed there should not work there.

  11. The management likes to pretend it's a 5 Star restaurant but pay you like it's McDonalds.

    Pros

Flexible hours. Easy to get hired.

    Cons

Low pay (most start at minimum wage or within 25 cents). Few opportunities for raises. Management is incredibly useless and often gets in the way of normal activities, such as making food and cleaning up. Management also very unpleasant during normal interactions. High expectations with little reward.

    Advice to Management

Pay higher wages. Stick to managing and don't interfere with production.
