Former Employee – worked at Panera Bread part-time for more than a year
Pros – The atmosphere is fantastic. It really makes you feel like you are in a good place. Employees are treated very well overall. Panera hires from a great pool of people. Flexible hours. Not to mention the great food! Also most of the managers I have interacted with are very laid back and friendly
Cons – Decent pay, could have been a little higher. Wasn't a fan of not being able to take extra food after closing for the day (not sure if this is still restricted)
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at Panera Bread full-time
Pros – Good cookies. The customers are very nice.
Cons – Terrible management who constantly lie and mock employees.
Advice to Senior Management – Quit. Every manager that worked while I was employed there should not work there.

Current Employee – been working at Panera Bread
Pros – Flexible hours. Easy to get hired.
Cons – Low pay (most start at minimum wage or within 25 cents). Few opportunities for raises. Management is incredibly useless and often gets in the way of normal activities, such as making food and cleaning up. Management also very unpleasant during normal interactions. High expectations with little reward.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay higher wages. Stick to managing and don't interfere with production.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Current Employee – been working at Panera Bread
Pros – Panera has a good company culture, with fun people to work with. The work is straightforward, and gives you a chance to work with people.
Cons – Can be repetitive service work, similar to any restaurant or cashier job.
Advice to Senior Management – Support lower staff to keep up morale.

Current Employee – been working at Panera Bread
Pros – The food. Some people are cool.
Cons – Condescending managers. Uneducated managers. No steady hours. Pull teeth or kiss as to get days off. You only get recognition if you are available when you want and if you are willing to learn how to do every position in the store.
Advice to Senior Management – Be more understanding of employees priorities outside of the job. Be more flexible to college students.

Current Employee – been working at Panera Bread
Pros – Ability to move quickly upward in the company, management gives recognition and support in job related activities. Transfer locations easily
Cons – Minimal pay, annual raises are low, there are no bonuses based on sales or growth for hourly employees. Time consuming, even when your "off the clock" you're still on call
Advice to Senior Management – Higher wages would lead to a lower turn over and take less time then retraining employees. Yearly bonuses or incentives for those responsible for increasing profits would encourage a better work ethic.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
