    Pros

Great place to work. Everyone is extremely friendly, patient and helpful. E learning is thorough, but learning more working hands on with trainers and other employees. Love that Panera is all about healthy eating, food is fresh, made from scratch. Always follows strict health codes and regulations which makes me even prouder to work for such a great customer friendly company/cafe.

    Cons

Need more hours than currently receiving.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. All the managers create a positive and motivating atmosphere that makes it a terrific working environment.

    Pros

I liked that most of the training was hands on. My trainer was a manager who is pretty strict, which is good for someone just learning. There are high standards for food safety, cleanliness, organization, appearance and efficiency. I feel good about the quality of food I am helping to provide. All of my managers are great and I get along with my coworkers. I really appreciate that the managers are willing to work with me on my schedule since I'm married and want to have most of my evenings and weekends free.

    Cons

Sometimes I feel like I'm working really hard and others are standing around chatting, but I guess in the end that just makes me look better! Also the pay isn't great starting out, but it's a pretty easy job so you just have to learn and work hard and get promoted.

    Pros

I had a great experience working for Panera Bread. My night shift supervisor was great. He was an excellent leader. It was a pleasure working for him. Panera Bread also offers Health Benefits to its part-time employees, which is a great benefit in the job market now days.

    Cons

There was one manager that did not have good people skills, Day Shift.

    Pros

Flexible hours, great management, excellent training. Overtime pay, good salary increases, fun coworkers, all contributed to making this a great place to work and learn.

    Cons

The only thing that makes me sad is that the leftover inventory isn't more frequently donated to a shelter or someone who could use it, and more often it goes home with staff.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work! Honestly I had no significant complaints, excellent environment, clear corporate structure.
