I have been working at Pangaia Partners full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

In the 3 ½ years that I have been with the company, the employee population has grown by 32%; I love working for a company that is moving forward and not backward.
Since I started with the company, we have also become a Cisco Gold Partner allowing me to gain more access to training and to add to my Certifications.
I love working with my team and manager, I have learned a lot from my manager and he has become a mentor to me.
The company also has a very elaborate holiday party where my spouse can attend with me, I love that the company does this since most companies don’t have parties anymore.

    Cons

I don’t get to see some of my fellow co-workers on a daily basis, however I do get to see them at the company’s semi-annual get together and holiday party.

I have been working at Pangaia Partners

    Pros

I have worked at Pangaia Partners for over 7 years. A lot of their clients are in investment banking and healthcare so its great to work on different projects and environments. There is also a lot of opportunity to grow your career whether it's to do more design and architect type work or move into program and project management positions. The leadership team is very up front with and the owners are actively involved in the day to day operations of the business.

    Cons

As they expand their business and partnerships there is a lot of training that they ask of their employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More employee get togethers, they are always awesome!

I have been working at Pangaia Partners full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good pay and work/life balance. Employees and client staff are courteous and pleasant to interact with.

    Cons

Pangaia is a staffing firm, filling roles on an SOW basis. They reel you in with the pretense of full-time employment and benefits but do not tell you they may not place you elsewhere when your contract is up. Depending on the type of engagement and client, you may or may not have long term employment here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more open with the business model, engage with your employees more often then the annual cocktail gathering.
