    Pros

Great money, great atmosphere! Never a dull moment in the pizza world. My mother is proud of me and she always will be, no matter what papa john says!

    Cons

Late hours. Dealing with unsupportive customers. Sometimes when i got to work I wondered if my dad would be proud of me or not.

    Advice to Management

Give us more money. Maybe have company picnics. Scratch that, lets had a company softball team

    Pros

Flexible schedule is great. I've always been able to chose when I work. Free food is good also.

    Cons

Long hours, weird hours. You feel like your working the night shift at a factory sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Lean the manuals, learn how to slam, and treat others with respect and have confidence

I have been working at Papa John's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work was easy and relatively independent; no supervisor breathing down your neck while you're out on a run, which allows you to do virtually anything you need to make the job easy, more enjoyable, and be more productive.

    Cons

Shifts can be boring at times if it's a slow night. I personally didn't like working nights, but that's when the majority of shifts were. Uniform was simple enough, but you had to be clean shaven which annoyed me.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Papa John's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice people to work with Working Fridays and during big specials can be somewhat lucrative They often give raises A lot of opportunities for free food (mainly with cancelled orders and mistakes) You learn how to make pizza

    Cons

Compensation often doesn't cover gas expenses Very disorganized Upper management doesn't seem to care Inconsistent earnings Officially not allowed to get free pizza for yourself

    Advice to Management

You should pay your drivers minimum wage to make the pay more fair like other pizza companies. Also should officially allow employees to make themselves pizza any work day.

I have been working at Papa John's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people who work work are very motivated and caring. This is a great company to 'grow up in' as an employee.

    Cons

Lack of communication between upper and lower management, certain things go without fixing for a while. Underpaid for master team members and up

    Advice to Management

They should not worry so much about their bonuses and worry more about the quality of their stores and managers.

I have been working at Papa John's (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent hourly rate if you're a driver, know what you're doing, and have a car that can take it. You probably won't be miserable if you're in school or own/run one. You'll probably meet some interesting people if you look past their flaws.

    Cons

Most cars can't take it. It's terrible to put on a resume. Standard retail customer garbage. Your car will smell like green peppers and onions forever. I'm glad I got a real job when I did, I was about to go insane.

    Advice to Management

Why is Papa John's picture on everything? Seriously, it's not just stuff you customers see. His picture is on stuff the product comes in too sometimes. Also, your prices are outrageous. I felt guilty if I couldn't give a customer any deal. It probably also hurt my tips.
