I have been working at Papa John's (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent hourly rate if you're a driver, know what you're doing, and have a car that can take it. You probably won't be miserable if you're in school or own/run one. You'll probably meet some interesting people if you look past their flaws.

    Cons

Most cars can't take it. It's terrible to put on a resume. Standard retail customer garbage. Your car will smell like green peppers and onions forever. I'm glad I got a real job when I did, I was about to go insane.

    Advice to Management

Why is Papa John's picture on everything? Seriously, it's not just stuff you customers see. His picture is on stuff the product comes in too sometimes. Also, your prices are outrageous. I felt guilty if I couldn't give a customer any deal. It probably also hurt my tips.

I have been working at Papa John's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's a good job while you're going through school or something like that. Working inside is good because you don't put wear and tear on your car. It's better than nothing.

    Cons

It's not something you can do as a career. It's more of a stop gap. The pay isn't all that great compared to what you have to put up with.

  3. A great first job to learn valuable team and customer service skills

I have been working at Papa John's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-Easy job -Relatively relaxed environment (location to location) -Money can be great -Flexible hours -Decent benefits

    Cons

-Money can be not so good -Long hours -Really late hours -Can be relatively dangerous (depending on location of store) -Inside workers don't make nearly as much as they should

    Advice to Management

Really consider that it takes more than one person to do a lot of the extra work and closing work. Seniority favor was a huge problem.

    Pros

Half off food. Cool people Relaxed environment That's honestly all I can come up with.

    Cons

People were complete morons Flour in the air (celiac disease) Everything has gluten in it Long delivery range Horrible compensation

    Advice to Management

Hum. I don't know hire smarter people and don't pay your employees like crap. It wasn't my manager that was the issue. She was awesome. It was the owner.
