I worked at Papa John's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pizza and opportunity for advancement. Fast paced and never boring

    Cons

As a general manager, shift leader and employee, hours were long and unpredictable. Regional manager was ridiculous with demands, but could just be him. No one should be expected to work 15 hour days for pizza. Seriously.

    Advice to Management

Ease up on managers if you ever want one to stay. Regional managers acting like a jerk does not boost morale for any store. Micromanaging is NOT a productive style.

    I worked at Papa John's full-time

    Pros

They are a pay for performance type company and they offer you a potential bonus opportunity when goals are met. Not bad if you are willing to work for it. A lot of money can be made.

    Cons

There are long hours required to be met to fulfill the required 45-55 hour work week. Bonus criteria tends to be rather biased from store to store. Harder for some and easier for others.

    Advice to Management

Everyone should be held to the same standards of performance since it is a "pay for performance company". Don't squeeze from one store to make goals padded at another.
