Great place to work. Great people to work with.

Registered Nurse (Current Employee) National City, CA

ProsHappy staff. Everyone likes working there and everyone helps everyone else. Don't know something? Just ask the person next to you. Everyone is happy to help.

ConsLow pay and lousy healthcare. There are no healthcare options really, you have to use what they tell you and if you have problems and need a specialist you have to wait a long time to get approved.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet better healthcare options for employees

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Majority of the coworkers and ancillary staff are nice. Everything else...there's always room for improvement.

    Registered Nurse (Current Employee)

ProsYou learn to grow and advance in the company at a fast pace because you're forced to take charge at unexpected times. The coworkers are supportive, friendly, and make sure you don't fall behind. The supervisors that I've worked with are very supportive of you as well. It's not a bad place to start if you're a new grad, considering you'll get a lot of support from people and experience. Personally, I haven't heard any stories of the whole "eating their young" in any department.

    Cons$$/hr.

Some doctors are questionable and don't respect staff members (patients included) at all. They seem to just let you deal with problems that are theirs or throw you under the bus, then you're the one cleaning up their mess.

The employee benefits could use some improvement.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake care of your employees better and maybe even take consideration of what staff say about who they work with.

Its against the law to clock out and then come in and finish your work

Registered Nurse (Current Employee) National City, CA

Prosclose proximity to home, easy commute and coworkers are nice.

Consunfair treatment by management to nurses if you are not in their click. Dictatorship by management.

Advice to Senior Managementkeep your good nurses by rewarding them and not punishing them.

ProsGreat people, very nice and welcoming. Everyone is willing to help each other out(usually) and everyone pretty much knows how to do everyone else's job

ConsWork is very monotonous, limited chances to move up the ladder

Advice to Senior ManagementMaybe figure out ways to incorporate more room for advancement

    – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
