I have been working at Paragon Bioservices full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Brilliant people willing to share knowledge is a big plus. New board representing investors should bring positive changes in the future.

    Cons

There has been too much turnover especially in the Quality Assurance department. They need to be unified and command respect through a united front.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Prioritize what is needed and what will give the most return on investment. Ask employees if they agree with audit findings and remedy what is necessary.

I have been working at Paragon Bioservices full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

You definitely know that the people who own the company care about each persons well being. The CEO would never ask you to do something that he himself wouldn't do.

    Cons

No promotions, no yearly reviews, difficult to open up for change, very old school,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be willing to listen to your employees. If you consistently turn down their suggestions eventually they stop trying. Show employees better appreciation. Find ways to boost morale.

I have been working at Paragon Bioservices full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

They do a good job if making sure that you have something to work on and you can get experience in several groups during work. Easy to talk to the CEO

    Cons

In close to 3 years I have not gotten a raise or promotion despite meeting requirements for a promotion according to job postings. Pays well below industry average in the are with no indication how to get a raise. If you're not a manager you are often treated less like a person and more like a disposable unit of labor

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Everyone I know who works with former paragon employees say the same thing: the work is rewarding but the pay is terrible. Offer competitive wages or continue to hemorrhage employees

I have been working at Paragon Bioservices full-time

    Pros

Employs can gain excellent experience in learning various phases of drug development. Some excellent colleagues from whom you can learn lot of new things.

    Cons

No scope for growth. Company doesn't believe in Annual performance review, work life balance and providing good opportunities for growth. its a mid size company with more than 120 employs as there is no annual review system ,its tough to track the performance of each and every employ . Getting a raise is almost impossible. No incentives for doing the extra work.

I have been working at Paragon Bioservices

    Pros

The employees at Paragon are an exceptional group of people. People are very dedicated, knowledgable, and willing to go the extra mile to complete a task. A diverse set of projects are managed at Paragon, and there is always a something new to learn. In many cases, there is a real sense that the work being done may lead to therapeutic advancements (new drugs, new vaccines, etc).

    Cons

The skill sets of many employees are ridiculously underutilized. Employees should be given more opportunities for career advancement. For most employees, regardless of level of performance, there is no clear path of career development, no hope of getting a raise, and efforts to move up in the company don't often amount to much success. No appreciation of extra hours worked, no matter how many hours of overtime are logged. While Paragon has exceptional employees, the negatives of the job are often too great, causing people to burn out, and eventually leave the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start appreciating your employees. Morale is extremely low due to near impossibility of getting a raise, below average benefits, and no rewards for going above and beyond expectations. A yearly review system, better HR infrastructure, and more incentives would go a long way to improving the company's culture and values.

    Cons

It's nearly impossible to get a promotion/raise. There are no annual performance reviews.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Paragon Bioservices

    Pros

They reward you for a job well done, great holiday parties, and the occasional celebratory lunch is always something to look forward to.

    Cons

The parking prices are a bit outlandish, $9 or if you pay a monthly fee it is $180 (which may only save you $18, depending on the length of the month). It would be nice if employees were able to pay the same price as students which is $2 a day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Offer more incentives to the employees, including discounted/ free parking and discounted gym memberships. It would certainly help with employee retention rates, if there were more perks for the employees to stay.

    Pros

Nice location and people to talk to.

    Cons

Costs money to obtain parking, it is ridiculous.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should have subsidized parking. Should have a review for people, and offer more incentives so that there is a higher employee retention rate.
