    ProsOverall good place to work. Compensation is below average, but very good health insurance and preventative maintenance plans.
    Stable job provided sales are to plan.
    All workers have the same end goal in mind.

    ConsCompensation not inline with state in which you are living... All based on Cleveland cost of living.
    No real succession planning... What will happen when the 20+ year employees retire?
    Behind the 8 ball with regards to competition and technology.

    Great Company, Poor Marketing

    ProsReally enjoyed working for PH, they had some really great people and working environment was top notch. They really cared about you. I heard that the benefits are great, but as an intern I didn't get to experience that. The pay for an intern was awesome, not sure about a full time employee, but if they offer 19/hr for internship? Probably quite good for a FTE.

    ConsNot much job perspectives for marketing/advertising in this company. I felt back in the stone-age when considering what they could be doing for their company, at least in the Columbus branch. Seemed like they didn't really want to invest in any marketing efforts, and what they do have working for them, the corporate marketing team seemed upset with any ideas that we tried to bring up. A lot of corporate drama.

    complete disregard of employee well being

    ProsInteresting job opportunities. Plenty of works, reasonable compensations

    ConsLong long working hours everyday! Leadership and management treat each employee as interchangeable parts. Abusive working environment. Program management leadership has no respect of employee's personal life and deliberately planned staffing level to be substantially below required level. Leadership has no plan for the long term, reactionary decision made on daily bases. Program Leadership get no respect from most of the engineer. They are so ignorance that engineer consistently laugh behind their back on their idiotic comments and decisions.

    Advice to Senior Managementthe moment job market in Los Angeles area picks up, significant among of employee will likely leave.

    abusive working environment; treating employee as number not person.

    ProsParker Controls System Division currently multiple development programs with steady work and provides steady pays.

    ConsLeadership of Controls System Division at Irvine consistently under-hire number of required resources level. Employee working over 50 hours week are normal and required. In fact, leadership and program management openly stated and planned engineering resource staffing level for minimum of 10+ hour work day, 50+ hours work week for each employee. People are not treated with dignity and respect by division leadership.

    Advice to Senior ManagementMorale of the division is so low that once the job market picks up, people are going to leave in truck loads.
