    Pros

    Career Development is important here. They value their key employees. There are alot of long term employees here so that shows company loyalty.

    Cons

    Cannot advance without a degree. However, the company does offer education reimbursement so if you are willing to work full time and go to school at night then you will definitely advance.

    Have open communication and reward and recognize accomplishments.

    Someone needs to have a vision of where each division is going. Way too much emphasis on short term profits.

    Pros

    Very good co workers, good hours, good benefits, engineers are good and will share knowledge. Temp to perm is easiest way to get in.

    Cons

    Big corporation atmosphere, change rules a lot, extremely hard to move up within company, raises are very small every year, Lower level bosses not great.

    Ethical, respectful- will do the right things Competitive pay and bonus Management team actively seeks new ideas and process to help the organization grow

    Cons

    Many corporate driven items from group Vps. As you develop into more senior level management there is a larger disconnect on what is actually taking place at the local level

    Advice to Management

    Make sure to visit the location and hourly team members to get a true sense of what is going on. Do not implement Cookie cutter solutions for all locations throughout the organization

    Good Company to start your career with. Lots of room for promotion. Friendly and nice working environment.Pay above average

    I dont have any negative comments I liked my time there. Environment is pretty formal if you are not used to that

    Pros

    The name Parker corporation on your resume is about the only benefit at this location.

    Cons

    Horrid upper management, just horrid! This division reacts to customer and employee dis-satisfaction by adding more metrics and meetings. All the while laying off employees and downsizing because of a failed management strategy and now they announce the full closure of the factory in 2016. They are moving it all (whats left) to Mexico. No surprise. My response was just a roll of the eyes upon the announcement. There is no reason to consider working here. None! Steer clear of this place like it has the plague!

    Fire all the MIT graduating managers who have ran your company into the ground!

    I worked at Parker Hannifin full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    They have decent pay and you get all the important holidays off. They also have good benefits if you can figure out how to get them.

    Cons

    You can't be sick more than 3 times or else you might as well say you don't have a job anymore. Upper management makes fun of its employees and has people babysit others. No steady hours so you never know if your paychecks will be enough. There is no organization whatsoever. Very poor place to work for.

    Do your job and make your employees feel important!!!

    Pros

    Cash flow is usually strong. Execs cater to wall street and institutional investors. Division of prez, CEO and cob roles back to three people instead of all positions under one man is good.

    Cons

    Frightening management changes announced today appear incomplete and inconsistent with latest analyst telecon. Where is simplification, reduction in administration, appreciation of performance over personality?

    Advice to Management

    Pay attention to current and potential employees. They are who communicate with your customers. And your customers make your business.
