I worked at Parkway Properties full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Provides benefits to full-time employees
Cons – Hostile Work Environment, lack of cultural diversity, restrictions on movement and activities during unpaid lunch breaks, regular use of racial slurs, retailiation to all who report these unfair practices to Human Resources.
Advice to Senior Management – There is clearly a need to educate staff on cultural diversity in the workplace. Human Resources should also investigate the restrictions on the employee being able to take their lunch and breaks.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Parkway Properties
Pros – Parkway provides excellent benefits to their employees. In most cases management is extremely fair during evaluations. Some of the best supplemental learning tools are offered to employees at no cost.
Cons – Poor communication by upper managment, most of the great things the company was founded on are changing under the new leadership.

I have been working at Parkway Properties
Pros – -Care about employees
-No micromanagement
-Employee extra benefits
Cons – -Workload has increased since acquisition
-wide lay-off when people felt their jobs were secure
-Benefits are available for employee at no cost but very expensive if you have to add spouse or dependents
Advice to Senior Management – Used to believe in Parkway while Steve Rogers was leading, feel a lot of uncertainity with the new leadership. We suggest a more honest and less boastful approach. Research change management and see how it is affecting your employees. Happy employees=happy customers=higher returns.
