    Pros

A large organization that encourages employee growth and personal development.

    Cons

Size of the organization often makes simple tasks difficult to accomplish. Tuition reimbursement is not competitive with other organizations in the market so if you are considering continuing education do not expect generous reimbursement. Average annual 2% merit increase is below the annual increase in cost of living.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

consider re-evaluating tuition reimbursement and yearly merit increase limits.

    Pros

    Benefits are top notch
    Installing Epic Health Systems
Work/Life Balance is very good, but depends on your manager

    Cons

Not a lot of room for growth or innovation on the IS side
Heading into Operational Mode when Epic install is complete, therefore current roles will change and there is potential for downsizing in the future

I have been working at Partners HealthCare full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The benefits are reasonable and remote working policy is flexible. Being part of the overall mission is extremely satisfying and one of the real reasons people continue to work for Partners.

    Cons

The compensation for mid level management is not competitive with the marketplace. Raises are extremely low and do not even cover the rise in other costs for health insurance premiums and transportation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior management leaders must learn to listen and effectively respond to their staffs concerns

    Negative Outlook
