    Fun place to work

    Front End Manager (Former Employee)
    Indianapolis, IN

ProsThe company is family friendly and seems to care for the responsibilities one has with family. Also, it is a fun to work in the party type of atmosphere.

ConsThere is not much training so it can make the new employee feel unsure of job responsibilities. Also, it is physically demanding. This is something that they do not make clear during interview process. There seems to be a lot of tension between the managers and cashiers. Often, it seems like the cashiers do not want to listen to managers.

Advice to Senior ManagementProvide more training when have new employee

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsFun environment, flexible schedule, hours are decent

ConsWorking to many hours, not a job for business oriented people

Not a bad place to work if you like working for free!

    Team Lead I (Current Employee)
    Pittsburgh, PA

ProsDepending on your location and coworkers this can be a very fun environment to work.

ConsCompany expects you to do way too much in the little amount of time given. Also to put it lightly... pay SUCKS for what is expected from you. They do not give every store the amount of hours that is needed to staff correctly so the small store have the same amount of employees on one shift as the superstores!!! I’d like to see the bigwigs do what they are making all the peons do.... yews that means driving your BMWs, Lexis’s, and Mercedes to a store and actually working rather than sitting in your offices all day!

Full Time sales associate. Can't wait to leave.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsMost of the people working there are fun and good people to be around and work with.

ConsAbsolutely terrible pay. Zero room for advancement into a management position without waiting for 5 years. You can absolutely bust your back doing work every day or you can do little to no work and at the end of the year your still only going to get a 25 cent raise max. Almost all of the customers are rude and disrespectful. And you are expected as a full time position or manager to accomplish far more than is possible in a given day with far to little compensation. Don't plan on working here for very long because you'll be miserable.

Advice to Senior ManagementLearn to reward people for hard work. Learn to actually train people. Learn to actually do work instead of sitting around talking all day.

Ive been with the company now for seven years

    Assistant Manager (Current Employee)

ProsThe only positive was the great staff I had and how hard working they were

ConsIf you want to grow in the company it is absolutely impossible, the pay is awful, and they are full of unfilled promises

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to hire management from within and keep it a young fun crowd.

Great work environment with excellent pay.

    Halloween Sales Associate (Former Employee)
    Richmond, CA

ProsThe coworkers were awesome and I got a decent amount of hours. Also, the merchandise itself was entertaining to sell, working with customers was one of the best parts.

ConsThe customers themselves during the Halloween season are hectic and rude. The job is extremely demanding and customer service plays a huge role.

i liked working there.i was a seasonal only employee during Halloween of 2013.

    Cashier/Sales Associate (Former Employee)
    Arlington, TX

ProsEveryone was nice and helpful to me as a newbie. During the holiday it was always busy. The closer to halloween the busier it got. i liked that.

ConsThey kept me calling in for two weeks with no hours just to end me on some contractual date i was never informed of. they could have said no we're not keeping you, goodbye.
