Pros

They truly want to do the best they can for their clients. They have 50 years of experience under their belt and some of management have been with the family company for decades.

Cons

Family politics have deteriorated upper managerment. The founders and current board members are so out of touch with the reality of today's market. The company still does not believe that a CRM program of some kind is necessay. The have been years behind all of their competitors in every significant operational change, mainly due to their complete technophobia their thought that the "old way" will continue to work.

Advice to Senior Management

Open your eyes. A majority of bad decisions made are not complicated ones. Look to your staff to manage their departments instead of managing from the top down.
